NEO has been a favorite amongst the cryptocurrency community for a while now, even when it was Antshares. But I feel like there is much tension in the NEO market, and it feels like it is going to explode sometime soon again.
If these Bitcoin dips over the past months have taught me anything, it's that when it happens you can view some of the real strength of the altcoins. Some will dip much lower than others, and some will rebound twice as fast. NEO has shown quite a resilience to go down, as well as showing a very healthy tendency to go back up.
NEO's price was of course badly affected by the China FUD, which is waning as we speak and rumors are already abound that China will lift it's bans pretty soon. NEO is often referenced as having a very good chance of passing any upcoming regulations, and becoming and remaining the premier cryptocurrency in China. Many people expect that if/when this happens NEO will go through a second major bull run. Not only that, NEO is growing out of it's 'Ethereum of China' image as it is reaching out all across the globe lately in terms of marketing.

As an investor you're of course looking for the best deal. One thing in particular that's very appealing to cryptocurrency investors are cryptocurrencies that pay out dividends of some kind. Masternodes and staking coins are very popular because of this, but they require expert technical knowledge and a hefty investment in order to obtain and set one up. NEO is unique in the fact that any amount of NEO can be staked and the only thing you have to do is simply keep your NEO in your wallet and it rewards you in GAS which is the token that will be the 'fuel' of the NEO blockchain.The GAS rewards are actually quite substantial, currently at about 8% annual ROI (see: www.neotogas.com) but could/should go up when the NEO network is getting used in the future because holders will also collect some of the fees. I believe that when the Bitcoin profits flow into altcoins again, people are going to think hard on which of all these hundreds of coins they will be putting it into. I believe a lot of smaller cryptocurrencies will not be bouncing back, but I am expecting a select few, NEO among them, to benefit doubly.
