Why should we prefer consistency?
Today I was really happy about my students attempting the quiz on the course I have taught them in the last two months. They started the quiz and after a while three of them told me that they had forgotten some of the points as they were ill for a few days and could not revise the course in the time given.
Although, they are the brightest pupils in my class but a bit of inconsistency can lead towards change in the performance. On the other hand some other average students were really satisfied with their attempt as they shared that they were regularly revising everything I have taught them since day 1.
What makes us successful is not about how intelligent or smart we are but it is all about the consistent effort we put in our works. It is never possible to win the race if you have strong legs but you don't practice but you can always get the first spot in the race if you keep practicing running everyday. That consistency is a habit. It differentiates between you and every other person who is not that much consistent. Everything looks so disciplined and organized when you consistently do your works according to the times assigned to them and take out time for yourself. A consistent mind knows how to prioritize things and when prioritized, everything seems possible and easy.
Though some people might want to get things done in a jiffy at the last moment but it doesn't promise satisfactory results. Starting your work from the very moment you think about it is the name of consistency and it brings you success.
