I've been having similar thoughts like this. With the way humans are evolving, I'm tending to believe what Dan brown said in his recent book 'Origins'. The book was trying to make us understand that as humans continue to over rely on technology, a time will come when it would totally become indispensable to the normal society. Humans will then continue to merge with technology resulting in a cyborg-like future. But for now, the question of the morality of a 'pseudosymbiotic' life of man & machine still remains unanswered.
