Thanks, eggmeister. Pleased to hear you're doing well. I've been low carb healthy fat for about a year. I'm down to about 11 stone and feeling great. One of my grandkids is gluten intolerant so he's pleased my wife and I make gluten free, keto-friendly pastry. I now believe a lot of people, if not visibly intolerant of gluten, ie wheat products in general, will have relatively hidden issues with wheat. The book, Wheat Belly, by Dr. William Davis is quite shocking. Of course, one should not just 'believe' anything one reads but it seems the real scientific evidence is accumulating and it in general is not in favour of wheat products. However the prevailing paradigm is in favour of 'healthy grains'. Most doctors have very little nutritional training and generally give out government guidelines which are mostly out of date.
