So I thought I'd share a bit about myself and what I'm getting into these next few weeks. I want somewhere to keep and update and something I can help others in the same boat.
So all my life I have been skinny. Like really skinny. And not by choice. I have spent countless dollars on weight gainers, creatine powders and other things to help me gain weight with minimal results. I spent months on end just sick feeling and bloated all day from trying to attempt to gain a caloric surplus with minimal results (I started trying to gain weight at 18 and have been on and off till now at 26)
I have been thinking of trying again, doing research again on better diets and workout programs.
That's when I found this new diet. The GOMAD diet. For those of you unaware GOMAD stands for Gallon Of Milk A Day. The idea is that you consume 4 litres of milk every day and increase your caloric intake by about 2400 calories everyday. The thing about it is that milk has a lot of healthy properties, good card and lots of calories. Its thin and easy to drink and your body doesn't feel as full because you can consume in quickly. I have read that you can gain 20 lbs in a month with this diet!
So to end this story u am going to keep you updated, i will be documenting my progress on this site. Today is my trial run and if it goes well, I will start either tomorrow, or after easter.
