Que tal comunidad, una publicación reciente de uno de nuestros miembros trataba sobre el cambio de la empacadura de la tapa que hace contacto con la culata - cabeza del motor o como le decimos en mi pais: cámara, a fin de corregir un bote de aceite, algo muy común en vehículos que ya cuentan con varios años, y que podríamos decir que es una reparación sencilla que cualquiera puede realizar.
The process that is shared in the publication is the one that I also know, first is to identify exactly where the oil leak is, then remove the cap, remove the old gasket and clean the remains of silicone that is attached to the camera or cylinder head, so that there are no remains in order to place the new silicone, in general that seems correct, is the way I would do it.
El proceso que se comparte en la publicación es el que yo tambien conosco, primero se trata de identificar exactamente en que parte este el derrame de aceite, para luego retirar la tapa, quitar la empacadura vieja y limpiar los restos de silicon que se encuentra adheridos a la camara o culata, para que no queden restos a fin de colocar el nuevo silicon, en general eso me parece correcto, es la forma en que yo lo haría.

Los resultados son muy interesantes y te ponen a pensar, yo particularmente siempre he visto que muchos de los mecánicos lo colocan con los dedos, y sus trabajos quedan bien, de hecho yo mismo lo hice así, incluso lo compartí en acá en la comunidad hace mucho tiempo, pero el carro nuevamente tiene derrame de aceite, eso se puede deber a muchos factores pero ¿si el aplicar el silicon de esta manera, es motivo para que dure menos tiempo sellado? o ¿sede mas rápidamente a la presión o altas temperaturas y se crean los derrames?
I am sure that many mechanics and technicians must apply the silicone correctly, surely here in the community there are several who do it well, but I particularly have not seen it, so I have to try, because soon I must change the gasket of the valve cover to correct a leak that is deposited towards the spark plugs.

Estoy seguro que muchos mecanicos y tecnicos deben aplicar el silicon de forma correcta, seguro aquí en la comunidad hay varios que lo hacen bien, pero yo particularmente no lo he visto, asi que me toca probar, ya que pronto debo realizar el cambio de empacadura de la tapa de válvulas para precisamente corregir un derrame que se deposita hacia las bujías.
Me gustaria conocer la opinion de ustedes, con sinceridad, cómo aplican el silicon y los resultados que han obtenido al hacerlo de una u otra manera, los leo.
