As I have already expressed in two previous posts in this same community, I started a process of aesthetic corrections of my truck, a 1994 Jeep Wagoneer Limited. This version of the truck has a vinyl paper with wood effect throughout the center of the body, as the classic Wagoneer, however, that is a disadvantage in the medium and long term as this paper deteriorates and then it is difficult to replace it, few companies are dedicated to making this paper because it really has very little demand, believe me I tried to get it, but at least in this country is difficult to get it.
Then, understanding that the paper was practically discarded, I decided to remove it, but it was not easy because there would be traces of glue and probably the paint under the paper would be deteriorated, but I did not have the budget to paint the whole truck, which after all was the most advisable thing to do. So, as my budget held out, I was correcting first brass details, these were emerging with great force as we cleaned the area, which caused some alarms as the matter could escalate much more.
After we prepared the most damaged parts, we were going to paint only those, but after removing the paper we realized that the result was not going to be anything aesthetic, so after talking with the brass worker, I decided to buy the remaining material to paint the whole truck. It was a pretty hard economic blow, but it was definitely worth it, after all, more than an expense, it is an investment.

As you could see in the pictures, the truck is almost completely painted, I love that dark green and the finish of the paint. I still need to restore and paint the four wheel hubs which will also be in green, that will make it look much better. Also remains to restore and paint the moldings that go on the sides, these will be semi-matte black as well as the front that now we see in gray.
The truck will change completely, it will not look like anything compared to when I bought it, it will also have differences in terms of the other trucks of this model, the fact that it is all painted green without the wood effect paper and still retain the side moldings (which will go black) will make it almost unique.
I must say that I decided to buy the rest of the materials since the brassworker is charging me a very reasonable and considerate price for his workmanship, I would say that nobody on the face of the earth would charge me so little for a job of these characteristics, so thanks to that the bills were adjusted to what I have available for this job.
Restoring the outside of the truck has been quite a journey, the little time available to the brass worker, the budget and the rain, have delayed a job that initially would be fast, I must admit that it has been a little stressful, but now that I see that the goal is near I feel it was worth it.
I leave you the two previous posts so you can see the evolution of the work. A big hug to all of you.
