Al hablar del Amor propio estamos reflejando nuestro autoestima, El "yo" se traduce en pequeñas acciones que te generan sensación de felicidad, de satisfacción por lo que haces, aprendes a quererte, desde adentro, cuidando de tu salud, realizando las actividades que mas te guste, dice que la soledad es mala, pero es tan necesaria para traer paz mental.
El amor propio es donde hay aceptación, respeto por uno mismo, el valor que nos damos que incluye pensamientos positivos a nuestra vida. Siempre hemos escuchado la frase: "para amar a otros, primero debemos amarnos nosotros mismos" pues claro que si, debemos empezar a querernos, aceptarnos tal y como somos, valorar lo que somos, podemos querer a otros de una manera sana.
Aunque existe los extremos, hay personas que solo piensa en el "yo" a tal punto de ser tan optimista e inflada que termina ocasionando rechazo, pero está el otro extremo en que no se valora lo suficiente, siendo pesimista, incluso buscan la manera de llamar la atención para sentirse atendido. La idea es mantener un autoestima equilibrado y armónico.
Como influye la familia en la construcción del amor propio

Ayer conversaba con una amiga sobre el comportamiento de nuestros hijos, llegamos a un punto donde empezamos hablar de la confianza que deben de tener en si mismo, para evitar que cualquier comentario negativo les afecte su bienestar y tranquilidad, pero como influye la familia en la construcción del amor propio también llamado alta autoestima. Pues desde pequeño se les enseña a confiar en sí mismo, a tener sentido de responsabilidad, incluyendo el amor, compresión, valores que luego son trasmitidos en la sociedad, es importante enseñarles las debilidades, fortalezas, oportunidades, defectos y virtudes.
Por ejemplo: Hablamos sobre la necesidad de enseñarle que no siempre se gana y que en ocasiones podemos perder, como padres queremos verlos siempre felices, es un error decirles que ganaste ( ejemplo un juego de futbol) cuando en realidad perdió, es allí donde viene la frustración, para fortalecer su autoestima es necesario que aprendan a controlar sus emociones, enseñarles el sentido de la diversión, la derrota no quiere decir que hay que abandonar, todo lo contrario se vuelve a empezar y se aprende habilidades para llegar al objetivo.
Existen tantos temas que nos llevan a la conclusión de que debemos trabajar día a día en el amor propio, aceptando defectos y virtudes. Otro ejemplo es el bullying, cada vez vemos casos como estos que afectan el bienestar de nuestros niños.
Es aquí donde podemos observar que el acosador a través demuestra tener un autoestima alto y resulta que es un disfraz, son personas inseguras, no se siente bien consigo mismo, estan carentes de amor propio, en el caso de la víctima se debe reforzar el amor propio, tener confianza en sí mismo, todas esas palabras negativas, enseñarles que son solo palabras, que no tienen ningún significado, el hecho de que digan cosas sobre nosotros no quiere decir que realmente sea así. Se que el tema del Bullying es difícil pero pienso que trabajando en el amor propios podemos ayudar a vencer los acosos. Sin embargo, existen casos de violencia que se debe trabajar de otra manera para evitar daños físicos y psicológicos.
Cómo trabajar en el amor propio

1- Crear conciencia: Ser consciente de nuestros actos, nos permite comprender lo que queremos y cómo lo queremos hacer, de la misma manera en que aprendamos a ser conscientes evitaremos hacer lo que otros quieran. Al estar en contacto con nuestros pensamientos positivos lograremos obtener resultados, si por algún momento tenemos pensamientos negativos convirtamos en positivo y constructivo, llenándonos de confianza.
2- Identifica tu círculo social: Vibrar con aquellas personas que sientan que quieren aportar en tu vida, tener afines, prioridades parecidas a las tuyas, sin entrar en el ámbito de competir. Que sea una relación que aporte ideas positivas a nuestras vidas, trayendo felicidad y armonía.
3- El autoconocimiento refuerza el amor propio: Conocernos, saber cuáles son nuestras virtudes, fortalezas, debilidades, buscar mejorar cada día, siendo mejor persona y reconocer en lo que realmente estamos fallando y esto a través del autoconocimiento. Lo que también llamamos la Matriz Dafo que no solamente se realiza en el ámbito laboral sino personal, reforzando el autoestima conociendo que se nos dificulta para hacer un plan de acción que ayude a cumplir nuestro objetivo.

4- Prioriza tus necesidades y no tus deseos: Las necesidades son parte del ser humano, que nos permite tener calidad de vida, en cambio los deseos forman parte de lo que queremos sin ser prioridad, si no lo controlamos se escapara de nuestras vida ocasionando impulsividad, no tenemos conciencia de nuestros actos.
5- Reconoce y fortalece tu amor propio: Cultivando el amor propio, trabajando en lo que queremos siendo consciente lograremos fortalecer el amor propio, a través de acciones, este amor debe ser totalmente sincero, como lo haces preguntándote: ¿Qué piensas de ti?, ¿Que tanto te gustas?, ¿Que tanta confianza tienes en ti?, ¿Como conviertes esos pensamientos negativos en positivo?
6- Cuídate físicamente: Si te amas de verdad, cuidas de ti, cuidar tu alimentación sana, practicar ejercicios, dormir bien, consentirte cuidando tu rostro, tu cabellos, tus uñas, dándole vitalidad necesaria para tu salud emocional y física. Practicar yoga o meditación que permite conectar nuestra mente y cuerpo.

7- Conoce personas nuevas: Hace tiempo lei un articulo que decía, que busquemos de relacionarnos con personas mas inteligente que nosotros, de esta manera podemos crecer, unir pensamientos que nos llevará al éxito, busquemos esas relaciones optimista, rodearse de personas positivas te llevan a ver situaciones desde otra perspectiva, a su vez nos ayuda a construir el amor propio.
8- Establece límites con los demás: Es algo difícil aprender a decir que "NO" genera confianza en sí mismo, evitando hacer lo que otros digas, convirtiéndonos en personas únicas, logrando una relación interpersonal, valorando nuestros propios deseos y necesidades.
9- Perdónate a ti mismo: errar es de humanos, así que si aceptamos lo que hicimos mal, sin llevarnos a golpearnos por el resto de nuestras vidas, podremos perdonarnos, buscando la solución de los problemas, aprendiendo de los errores. Al perdonarnos dejamos de estropear el amor propio.

Self-love is where there is acceptance, respect for oneself, the value we give ourselves that includes positive thoughts to our life. We have always heard the phrase: "to love others, we must first love ourselves" because of course we must begin to love ourselves, accept ourselves as we are, value what we are, we can love others in a healthy way.
Although there are extremes, there are people who only think of the "I" to the point of being so optimistic and inflated that ends up causing rejection, but there is the other extreme in which it is not valued enough, being pessimistic, even looking for ways to draw attention to feel cared for. The idea is to maintain a balanced and harmonious self-esteem.
How the family influences the construction of self-esteem
Yesterday I was talking with a friend about the behavior of our children, we reached a point where we started talking about the confidence they should have in themselves, to avoid that any negative comments affect their welfare and tranquility, but how the family influences the construction of self-esteem also called high self-esteem. Since they are taught from an early age to trust in themselves, to have a sense of responsibility, including love, understanding, values that are then transmitted in society, it is important to teach them the weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, defects and virtues.
For example: We talk about the need to teach them that they do not always win and that sometimes we can lose, as parents we want to see them always happy, it is a mistake to tell them that you won (for example a soccer game) when in reality they lost, that is where frustration comes, to strengthen their self-esteem is necessary that they learn to control their emotions, teach them the sense of fun, defeat does not mean that you have to give up, on the contrary, you start over and learn skills to reach the goal.
There are so many issues that lead us to the conclusion that we must work every day on self-esteem, accepting defects and virtues. Another example is bullying, every time we see cases like these that affect the welfare of our children.
It is here where we can see that the bully through shows to have a high self-esteem and it turns out to be a disguise, are insecure people, do not feel good about themselves, are lacking in self-esteem, in the case of the victim should be strengthened self-esteem, have confidence in himself, all those negative words, teach them that they are just words, which have no meaning, the fact that say things about us does not mean that it really is so. I know that the issue of bullying is difficult but I think that by working on self-love we can help to overcome bullying. However, there are cases of violence that must be worked on in a different way to avoid physical and psychological damage.
How to work on self-esteem
1- Create awareness: Being aware of our actions, allows us to understand what we want and how we want to do it, in the same way that we learn to be aware we will avoid doing what others want. By being in touch with our positive thoughts we will achieve results, if at any time we have negative thoughts, let's turn them into positive and constructive ones, filling us with confidence.
2- Identify your social circle: Vibrate with those people who feel they want to contribute to your life, have similar priorities to yours, without entering into the field of competition. Let it be a relationship that brings positive ideas to our lives, bringing happiness and harmony.
3- Self-knowledge reinforces self-love: Knowing ourselves, knowing what our virtues, strengths, weaknesses are, seeking to improve every day, being a better person and recognizing where we are really failing and this through self-knowledge. What we also call the Dafo Matrix that is not only done in the workplace but personally, reinforcing self-esteem, knowing what we find difficult to make a plan of action to help meet our goal.
4- Prioritize your needs and not your desires: The needs are part of the human being, which allows us to have quality of life, however the desires are part of what we want without being a priority, if we do not control it will escape from our lives causing impulsivity, we are not aware of our actions.
5- Recognize and strengthen your self-love: Cultivating self-love, working on what we want and being conscious we will be able to strengthen self-love, through actions, this love must be totally sincere, as you do by asking yourself: What do you think of yourself, how much do you like yourself, how much confidence do you have in yourself, how do you convert those negative thoughts into positive ones, how do you convert those negative thoughts into positive ones?
6- Take care of yourself physically: If you really love yourself, take care of yourself, take care of your healthy eating, exercise, sleep well, pamper yourself taking care of your face, your hair, your nails, giving vitality necessary for your emotional and physical health. Practicing yoga or meditation allows us to connect our mind and body.
7- Meet new people: Some time ago I read an article that said that we should seek to relate with people smarter than us, in this way we can grow, join thoughts that will lead us to success, let's look for those optimistic relationships, surround yourself with positive people lead you to see situations from another perspective, in turn helps us to build self-esteem.
8- Establish limits with others: It is somewhat difficult to learn to say "NO" generates self-confidence, avoiding doing what others say, becoming unique people, achieving an interpersonal relationship, valuing our own desires and needs.
9- Forgive yourself: to err is human, so if we accept what we did wrong, without beating ourselves up for the rest of our lives, we can forgive ourselves, looking for the solution to the problems, learning from our mistakes. By forgiving ourselves we stop spoiling our self-esteem.
