I feel like the luckiest woman alive at that time because she arrived at that perfect time when we were in need and desperate. She is my angel dressed in a simple clothes.
I'm finally home! Well, actually, I've been staying at home since March 13. I got released from the hospital at 5 p.m. after gathering all the help and funds we needed. As I said in my previous article, we will try to seek help from different organizations somewhere here in our place. I couldn't get help from DSWD because of the long process, but we're able to ask for help from three different organizations. I'm really not all familiar with them. But thanks to those who mentioned them to my mom, we received a lot of help from them.
At first, I was actually just wishing to receive even 5,000 PHP help because I only have 38,000 PHP in my wallet. But if we can receive more, then that would be really a great help, especially since it's not like the expenses will end here. I still have a follow-up checkup, I still need to buy medicines, and, of course, I need to budget for my foods, especially fruits and veggies, for my fast recovery. But God has really an amazing way to send help to His people, because look how I received more for what I asked for.
And guys, this is actually not the end of it because while we are discussing where to ask for more help, like, you know, we are really just in need. So we are just desperate to look for more. Our discussion was put to a halt when a new patient was brought into the ward and the guardian was with him. But after that, we continued with what we were talking about at that time, and I think the guardian of the patient who just came in at that time heard us because she suddenly joined in on our talk, saying that there is actually a newly opened office somewhere in Pinamalayan that gives aid or financial help to those in need.
And I was like, "OMG, Ma!!! An angel had arrived!" When I heard the news, I felt like really jumping, but of course I can't really do that, lol. Bringing that information and all, but it didn't stop there, because she gave us help until we got the help we needed. Actually, that said office is about to close that day, it's 15 minutes before 5 p.m., which is the closing time. But with the fast action of my angel, everything runs smoothly as if they use keratin on it, lol. I was the happiest at that time!
After getting a picture of some of my papers, minutes after sending them to the person managing them, my angel finally said that we could finally use them. I should just bring this and that and show the chat she sent to us. My brother immediately went to the billing, and I also prepared the amount I have in my wallet. Overall, we got 13,500 PHP, and from the 43,000+ PHP bill, it became 30,609 PHP. Imagine the difference with the help we received. I'm really glad I found that angel.
I will surely cry in silence inside my room if we don't get that financial help. Thanks to God, He created other ways to help us. I'm really just happy and grateful.
