Some people always ask us, "Why do you need to wear makeup?" because they don't feel what we feel. I once became like them too; I became a basher of girls wearing make-up at our school before, but I never talked about my thoughts on their faces and just kept my opinion to myself because I thought that they had their reasons for wearing make-up and I should be understanding.
Then one day, I became like them. Make-up is important for some girls, like me. Because make-up helps us overcome the situation of having low confidence when going out or having to face many people because of the insecurities we feel, some people wear make-up because they want to become make-up artists and they love art. Some people wear make-up because it's just a hobby or talent when they are bored. Those are just examples of reasons why girls wear make-up, and not only girls can wear them because if you are into fashion and art, even men can wear them because this thing is not only meant for one gender. Everyone can use it, and this thing is not only for use on our faces; we can also reuse it in the future.
Did you know? You can also use your expired make-up for painting?

Anyway, for today's blog, I will share my thoughts and or advice when it comes to makeup for some beginners who want to learn makeup but don't know how to start.
Oh well, I am not a professional like the other members of this community, but I will try my best to share what I can share or know when I was still a beginner at using make-up.
If you want to know how I started using makeup, you can read it here:
"...I started applying make-up to my face when I was a high school student because of my older sister's influence."

This is my first blog here, where I also shared my story of how I got started using make-up, and at the same time, I shared the basic steps and my first make-up tutorial. I hope I can share more on my future blogs.
So anyway, our topic for today is giving advice for beginners, as I previously stated above, and I hope you will enjoy reading this! Let's start.
So the first piece of advice I can give is regarding the:
In the purchase of equipment and makeup products.

If you are a beginner, you don't need a super-expensive product to practice. You should simply purchase a low-cost, safe product. There are numerous makeup brands with low-cost products. I advise you to use Careline cosmetics and Everbelina, which you can also buy at Watson's and in some markets everywhere. Meanwhile, Shopee and Lazada have a budget-friendly selection of makeup as well, like Pinkflash, Kimuse, and Sacelady.
I don't recommend using super cheap products like you can always find in the tiangge because those make-up are, yes, affordable and that is all you can afford, but we can't be sure if they are really safe to apply on our face and lips because of some chemicals that were mixed in when the products were made, so be careful on what you buy.
What are the products that I can recommend for beginners in makeup that they can use for practice?

Anyway, I will recommend that you use eyeliner stamps (or whatever products you choose because this product is already available in different shops and brands), but for me, I recommend that you use this Kimuse eyeliner stamp because it is waterproof and easy to apply.

Though my eyebrows are natural and I don't shave them, I also try my best to draw perfect eyebrows when doing makeup before using eyebrow liner pencils. But this time, we have eyebrow stamps that you can simply place on your brows and choose which eyebrow shape you want to achieve, and you don't need your hand to be numb to practice drawing the right angle or shape of your brows.

I recommend you to watch or read makeup tutorials on various social media platforms.
If you are a beginner, you should also start watching make-up tutorials on social media platforms like YouTube. There are many vlogs by make-up artists and professionals about how to use make-up equipment correctly and what you should do; read blogs for more make-up information.
Aside from this advice,

You can also ask your makeup-savvy friends to assist you in learning how to do it. As for me, I didn't learn by watching on social media or asking other people to help me learn how to use make-up; I just watched my sister do her make-up in front of the mirror, and that is how I became curious and started to learn make-up on my own.
However, it is very important to watch tutorials from the professionals because they have more knowledge about these things and we want to be safe in what we do.
Additional advice:
Aside from watching tutorials on how to use makeup, you should also watch some on how to take care of your skin because not all makeup is safe for our faces. When we use products that our skin does not like, it reacts, and at worst, it can cause damage to our face. So know what you'd apply to your face and how you'd care for your face if you were applying make-up.
CONCLUSION...
This is not a makeup tutorial, but since I love make-up, I want to help the beginners and the people who want to learn make-up by sharing what I know.
Because I remember the virtual people who I have known before asking me how I started to learn make-up and what advice I should give them to learn how to apply make-up. So these are some of the tips I give them, and I hope that this blog will be useful to other new ladies who want to learn about makeup.
Thank you for reading!
