Hello hivers! How are we doing and hope our day went well?
So today i happened to attend the second hive workshop programme and its something i had looked forward to. Now you may be wondering why its my second meeting already as i just got onboarded by my sister @happiahjoseph yesterday.
Well, let me clarify your doubts. When i attended the first meeting, i did as a novice and was yet to register on the platform. I went there with purpose which was solely to learn and know extensively what hive programme was about and what it entailed.
After i was made to know what it was about during the first meeting anchored by @ijelady, then and there i made up my mind to get boarded immediately hence where we are today.
I got there just on time before the meeting commenced and took my front sit. Indeed it was impactful and insightful as i learnt a lot of things which was simplified by our moderator today @precious-01
He not only explained it but took time to explain the practical aspect of it. I was shown on how to claim coins sent by user's through the hive key chain. I also learnt that hive key chain can be used for transaction purposes. Next was how the ecency app functioned.
We were made to understand that the eccency app houses a list of communities in which users can join to post and also interact with other users on a day to day basis thereby building bond, connections and friendship. It interface is also user friendly showing ones profile and your normal activities on hive platform performed there.
Next was how peakD account can be created from hive and then used to access and join several communities of interests. All these were practicalised and the account creation experimented by me. Our moderator also explained that peakD is a community on its own where one can post and interact with other users yet with a front end on hive.
And then finally i was shown on how to upload videos using the 3speak site. As a content creator i love making videos and vlogs surrounding my daily experience but better documented with videos reason i so looked forward to knowing how to do this. I did all of this following the steps given and later proceeded to comfirming my account on my gmail.
It was fun and interesting learning all of this under the umbrella of other learneth hivers. The interactions and bond gave me deep insight to how broad Hive platform trully is.
I cant wait to pass down same knowledge of what i have learnt to users i will be onboarding soonest.
My day was worthwhile and the meeting ended well. At the end of it we all stood outside to take beautiful photos of us.
