Dear Next Generation
Like butterflies passing through on a breeze, find satisfaction living quality life vs extravagant lifestyles, learn small steps first, bigger inevitably follow.
Appreciating simple joys enables us to focus on nurturing gratitude, eventually a sustained lifestyle where we are able to cope if/when expanding.
Happiness is what all strive toward, little things with big benefits, when one looks back. We all start small, positive growth will flourish via practice, optimism toward a meaningful future, cast aside clutter.
Social status appears to have arrived at think big, want big compromising life sometimes, leaving us without empathy toward others.
Pondering how failure leaves us extremely negative, disheartened, it is essential to recollect time not wasted shying away from what brings us overwhelming joy through simplicity.
Neutralize regret start the right way round asses your needs, often we surprise ourselves in how far we are able to grow/go without social pressures. Use stepping stones approach, appreciating small not always affording big, finding our own nirvana a state of being.
Now more mindful as years slip past, Mothers words ring true, something I do pass onto all youth I know through my children, family and friends, start small, big will follow no matter which path ventured down, extravagance does not bring happiness, never look over the wall with jealousy.
We tend to chase through life fulfilling needs and wants, is it uncommonly sane to find happiness by performing a form of asceticism?
We need to talk, everything we own is on loan for the duration of a lifetime, we are in the ebb and flow of life itself, how we utilize what we have, will be our unique contribution for those who follow when we go.
Happiness far outweighs wealth once we accept not all will be leaders or exceptionally rich financially, wealth comes in many guises.
Be courteous, friendly, kind, compassionate, listen (especially parents and loved ones), we don't all have equal opportunities. If you don't marry, get a dog for companionship, giving is far greater than receiving.
My message is live within your means, enjoy life with all it offers, never expect anything from anyone.

Thought for Today: "He who knows that he has enough is rich." - African Proverbs
that was so profoundly life-changing that you need young people to learn from it.
