Crear contenido de juegos puede suponer un reto, para algunos está el reto de jugar bien para que la grabación quede lo mejor posible, para otros es conseguir la mejor captura de pantalla, para lograr mostrar esa escena que cuando la vez, solo puede decir ¡wow! Independientemente la forma en que crees contenido, hoy queremos compartir algunas sugerencias que te pueden ayudar al momento de realizar tu publicación.

Hablemos del título

En cualquier publicación, en cualquier medio, el título es una de las mejores herramientas que tenemos para hacer que una persona entre a ver el contenido. El contenido gaming es perfecto para crear títulos creativos, así que aprovecha los acontecimientos que suceden en ese juego, para crear uno que capte la atención de la comunidad. Muchas veces el contenido gaming se hace en partes, por lo que es muy común ver títulos que incluyen: parte 1, parte 2, parte 3, etc.

Quienes siguen el contenido desde la parte 1, no tendrán problema con eso, pero quienes llegan en la parte 4, una de las posibles reacciones es que no vean tu contenido y tampoco vayan a ver las partes anteriores, perdiendo la oportunidad de disfrutar una parte 4 sin necesidad de ver lo anterior. Como recomendación, evita mencionarlo en el título, puedes decirlo directamente en el escrito, dejando hipervínculo a las otras partes. A continuación, unos ejemplos:

Título convencional

• Jugando Bayonetta 2 – Parte 3 – Lucha contra el jefe Fortitudo
• Luchando contra un Diablos Negro – Gameplay Monster Hunter Wolrd Parte 6

Un mejor título podría ser

• Las brujas de Umbra vs Fortitudo – La última bala decidirá todo | Bayonetta 2
• Le partí los cuernos a un Diablos Negro en Monster Hunter World | Gameplay

Un título con algo más de detalle, sin exagerar, e indicando de que juego trata, que es importante colocarlo. En el ejemplo se eliminó lo de “parte 3 y parte 6”, ya que eso se puede mencionar en el texto escrito o mientras hablas en el video, si es que estás grabando un gameplay. Adicional, podrías tener presente las siguientes consideraciones para el título:

• Si colocas la palabra gameplay en el título, para mostrar el juego, entonces asegúrate de agregar un video. Gameplay hace referencia a eso, a que las personas te vean jugar.
• Si estás haciendo una review o compartiendo algún truco dentro de un juego, puedes dejarlo claro en el título, algo como:

Nunca pensé que hablaría en lengua de dragones | Mi review de Skyrim

• En alguna parte del título deja el nombre del juego, esto para que de antemano las personas sepan sobre que videojuego trata tu contenido.

Multimedia

La multimedia, en un contenido gaming, es importantísimo. Con multimedia nos referimos a las imágenes, incluyendo los gifs, ya que en cuanto a video hablaremos más adelante. Las imágenes nos ayudan a mostrar esa escena mágica en un videojuego, esos segundos antes de dar el golpe de gracia o simplemente un paisaje en un juego mundo abierto. A la hora de seleccionar la multimedia, ten presente los siguientes puntos:

• No tomes capturas por tomarlas. Planifica que contenido quieres compartir y en base a eso, toma las capturas.
• Colocar gifs en la publicación, da un punto extra para que la persona pueda ver en acción lo que estás contando.
• Si las condiciones lo permiten, utiliza la mayor resolución disponible al momento de tomar capturas, para que tengas la mejor calidad posible en las imágenes.
• Puedes emplear el uso de tablas para agrupar grupo de imágenes.
• Utiliza tus propias capturas de pantalla, si estas jugando el juego, no es necesario adicionar capturas que están en Internet.

Hablemos de los videos

A muchos nos encanta hacer el contenido gaming en video. Grabar un gameplay y mostrarlo a toda la comunidad. Nos sentimos orgullos de que nos vean jugar y mostrar la destreza que tenemos con los controles. Queremos dar algunas sugerencias a la hora de grabar videos, tips que te pueden ser de ayuda:

• Lo primero es tener en cuenta que si estas subiendo los videos a 3speak, no se toma en cuenta la cantidad de horas de reproducción, como sucede en Youtube. Teniendo eso presente, puedes pensar subir ese contenido que las personas van a ver sin agotarse, ya que la plataforma si toma en cuenta el número de vistas. De llegar a cambiar esto, lo ajustaremos como sugerencia.
• Al momento de grabar, busca que un equilibrio entre tu voz y el sonido del juego. Si ambos sonidos se atropellan, entonces harás que las personas no vean tu video. Realiza pruebas, ya sea que estés grabando la pantalla de tu dispositivo móvil, pc o consola, y asegúrate de que la voz tenga el volumen adecuado, al igual que el sonido del juego.
• Dependiendo del juego, la calidad del video es un punto importante. Consideramos que es mejor grabar pantalla a máxima calidad y luego convertir de ser necesario, que grabar a calidad media y luego no poder contar con la calidad necesaria.

Hablemos del texto

Contenido gaming hay por todos lados, desde guías, trucos, wikis, análisis, entre otros. Para evitar caminar en el borde de la línea que hace que el contenido parezca sacado de medios sobre videojuegos, lo mejor es contar tu propia experiencia, narrar lo vivido en la aventura que estás jugando. De esa manera, la entrada a tu blog se hace genuina más que algo técnico que parece sacado de Internet, generando la duda de un contenido parafraseado.

Gaming content is perfect for creating creative titles, so take advantage of the events that happen in that game, to create one that captures the attention of the community. Gaming content is often made in parts, so it is very common to see titles that include: part 1, part 2, part 3, etc.

Those who follow the content from part 1, will have no problem with that, but those who arrive in part 4, one of the possible reactions is that they will not see your content and will not go to see the previous parts either, losing the opportunity to enjoy part 4 without having to see the previous part. As a recommendation, avoid mentioning it in the title, you can say it directly in the text, leaving hyperlink to the other parts. Here are some examples:

Conventional title

A better title could be

A title with a little more detail, without exaggeration, and indicating what the game is about, which is important to say. In the example, "part 3 and part 6" was eliminated, since that can be mentioned in the written text or while talking in the video, if you are recording a gameplay. • If you put the word gameplay in the title, to show the game, then be sure to add a video. Gameplay refers to that, to people watching you play.

• Somewhere in the title leave the name of the game, so that people know beforehand what video game your content is about.

Multimedia

Multimedia, in a gaming content, is very important. By multimedia we mean images, including gifs, since we will talk about video later on. Images help us to show that magical scene in a videogame, those seconds before the knockout blow or simply a landscape in an open world game. When selecting multimedia, keep the following points in mind:

• Don't take screenshots for the sake of taking screenshots. Plan what content you want to share and based on that, take the screenshots.
• Placing gifs in the publication gives an extra point so that people can see in action what you are telling.
• If conditions allow it, use the highest resolution available when taking screenshots, so that you have the best possible quality in the images.

• The first thing is to keep in mind that if you are uploading the videos to 3speak, the amount of hours of playback is not taken into account, as it happens on Youtube. Keeping that in mind, you can think about uploading that content that people will watch without getting exhausted, since the platform does take into account the number of views. If this changes, we will adjust it as a suggestion.
• When recording, look for a balance between your voice and the sound of the game. If both sounds run over each other, then you will cause people not to watch your video. Test, whether you are recording the screen of your mobile device, pc or console, and make sure that the voice has the right volume, as well as the sound of the game.
• Depending on the game, the quality of the video is an important point. We consider that it is better to record screen at maximum quality and then convert if necessary, than to record at medium quality and then not be able to have the necessary quality.

When creating gaming content, it is not necessary to go to the Internet to obtain multimedia or any other material. Use the content offered by your own original copy of the game.
