Great to be back! You recall my introductory post: @ogeewitty/my-introductory-post
The only device(a phone) I had for communicating here was stolen,keeping me away,but by God's loving grace I'm back with another phone.
Good morning from here everyone.
Glory to God we made it into the new year, 2022.
I BRING YOU A SONG
This has to be a song to open up your year. You may have heard it before or even have a copy of it in your phone or somewhere, but I guess you would accept that it still proves fresh right now.
There is such undeniable palpable aura of God's very presence in this song. The title,Obinigwe,is of the Igbo language in Nigeria,it means and refers to God who reigns or lives on high( or in the heavens).
I like to quote Is 33:5— "The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgement and righteousness. "
The song starts with the line,
"I'm amazed by all you do;
I'm amazed you came through for me;
Even in my darkest moment;
Baba[Papa], you lit up my world;"
IT KEEPS RINGING
The resounding theme of this song is the line that says,
"What did I do to deserve this kind of love?;
What did I do to sit at your right hand?"
One just wants to cry as the songs takes you into deep thanksgiving because, the reality of God's gift of Grace is aroused in your soul. You see that you do not deserve or merit what God has given you. It is not because of your hardwork that God has blessed you or saved you or healed you, or shown you favour.
SCRIPTURES
Scriptures like these come alive:
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."– Romans 5:8
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:
Not of works,lest any man should boast."– Eph 2:8-9
"...sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Eph 2:6
And so on.
ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY AND THIS NEW YEAR WITH THIS SPIRIT LIFTING SONG.
God's blessings on you all in Jesus' name. AMEN!
cheerfully...
