¡Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive y Street Workout! Espero que todos estén muy bien, chicos. Hace unos días en el parque, me tomé el momento de pensar si entrenar jale o empuje. No sabía realmente qué entrenar, tenía algo de cansancio encima ya que había viajado a San Juan de los Morros a ver clases. Sin embargo, eso no fue un obstáculo para ir al parque a entrenar como lo tenía planificado. Uno de mis compañeros me comentó si íbamos a ir al parque, ya que estaba algo nublado y parecía que iba a llover.
Warm greetings to the whole Hive and Street Workout community! I hope everyone is doing great, guys. A few days ago in the park, I took the time to think about whether to train pull or push. I didn't really know what to train, I was a bit tired as I had travelled to San Juan de los Morros for classes. However, that was not an obstacle to go to the park to train as I had planned. One of my teammates asked me if we were going to go to the park, as it was a bit cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain.
A lo que yo le respondí que sí íbamos a ir. Se llegó al parque a eso de las 5:30 p.m. aproximadamente para dar chance de que el tiempo iba a despejar o no. Una vez que estábamos en el parque, nos estábamos poniendo de acuerdo sobre qué era lo que íbamos a entrenar y se llegó a la conclusión de que sería la fuerza de jale, es decir, el front lever. Primeramente, se empezó a calentar las articulaciones que generan mucha tensión en este elemento del Street Workout; de esta manera estaríamos evitando alguna lesión a largo plazo y podríamos seguir con nuestros entrenamientos de calistenia.
To which I replied that we were going. We arrived at the park at about 5:30 p.m. approximately to give a chance whether the weather was going to clear or not. Once we were in the park, we were agreeing on what we were going to train and we came to the conclusion that it would be the pull strength, that is, the front lever. First of all, we started to warm up the joints that generate a lot of tension in this element of Street Workout; this way we would be avoiding any long term injuries and we could continue with our calisthenics training.
El primer ejercicio de la rutina era aguantar nuestra máxima progresión de front lever; podía ser en full, straddle, tuck avanzado, tuck half, entre las otras progresiones que hay. Por mi parte, tengo la progresión de straddle front lever con mejor técnica; podrán detallarlo en la fotografía que puse de portada. El objetivo era aguantar hasta el máximo para indicarle a nuestro cuerpo que necesita mejorar y crear nuevas fibras para poder adaptarnos al movimiento; fueron un total de 4 series.
The first exercise of the routine was to hold our maximum front lever progression; it could be in full, straddle, advanced tuck, tuck half, among other progressions. For my part, I have the straddle front lever progression with the best technique; you can see it in detail in the picture I put on the cover. The goal was to hold to the maximum to tell our body that it needs to improve and create new fibres to be able to adapt to the movement; there were a total of 4 sets.
Luego de eso hicimos una combinación de tres ejercicios (touch front lever avanzado por 8 segundos, luego aguantar el tuck avanzado por 15 segundos y por último aguantar el tuck normal por 30 segundos, por 4 series). Fue todo combinado para evitar que nuestro cuerpo se enfriara rápido. El último ejercicio de la rutina fue remo a pica front lever para mejorar la postura de este estático, que es lo que me falta a mí para poder tener un buen front lever; fueron repeticiones de 6 a 8. Esto iba a depender de cómo nos sentíamos para ejecutarlo. En todos los ejercicios descansamos de 2 a 3 minutos. Esta es toda la rutina que realicé hace unos días en el parque, chicos; espero les haya gustado el contenido. ¡Fue un gusto compartir con ustedes!
After that we did a combination of three exercises (advanced touch front lever for 8 seconds, then advanced tuck hold for 15 seconds and finally normal tuck hold for 30 seconds, for 4 sets). It was all combined to prevent our body from cooling down quickly. The last exercise of the routine was a front lever row to improve the posture of this static, which is what I'm missing to be able to have a good front lever; it was reps of 6 to 8. This was going to depend on how we felt to execute it. On all the exercises we rested for 2 to 3 minutes.
