La verdad no se bien como comenzar, a tal punto que me fue bastante difícil elegir el título de la publicación y estructurar el mismo.

Esta publicación surge de la lectura de las publicaciones de @fermionico ¿Por qué los curadores hispanos debieran conocer el KE Ratio? (ESP/ENG) || THOUGHTS ABOUT CURATION..! , la publicación de @ylich KE Ratio y otras refexiones | More reflections las cuales me llevaron a leer las de @acidyo KE alone is not the KEy y @azircon KE-Ratio as a guide

Sobre el final también me referiré a la publicación de @hiveargentina Novedades para Hive (Esp/Eng Subtitled)

Por donde arrancar??...

Simplemente por el principio y ello nos lleva a pensar necesariamente en lo que representa la tecnología blockchain y la Web3 de la que tantas veces hablamos. Si mal no recuerdo cuando hablamos de estos conceptos solemos hacer referencia a la democratización de internet, en la democratización de las finanzas e incluso muchos pensamos que estamos viviendo un momento bisagra que marcará un antes y un después en el mundo de las finanzas.

Que significa la democratización de internet o democratización de las finanzas?

La democratización de las finanzas podemos decir que un proceso en el que los servicios financieros puedan ser accesibles para más personas y lo mismo ocurre con la democratización de Internet implica que las tecnologías y la información se accesible a todo el mundo. La finalidad es simple, mejorar la vida de las personas.

Teniendo estas premisas o estos conceptos que palabras más, palabras menos todos coincidiremos vayamos a los puntos de la publicación.

El indice KE y sus repercusiones.

Aquí nuevamente debemos comenzar por el principio y lo primero es saber que es un indice. Un índice es un indicador estadístico que mide variables. En el caso de KE mide la suma del Hive ganado por recompensas de autor y curación dividido el Hive Power. En pocas palabras el [HIVE ganado/HIVE POWER]

Que significa el resultado?

Un simple número duro y puro, no más que ello. Cada quien dirá que número es aceptable y cual no según sus propias subjetividades, sus creencias, sus expectativas, su preparación y sobre todo a su realidad.

El KE nada dice del trabajo de un usuario en la blockchain, en la web2 promocionando y cualquier otro asunto que pueda dedicar el usuario para hive como por ejemplo en onboarding. Tampoco creo que los curadores tengan ni la capacidad ni el tiempo necesario para ver tales variables a la hora de brindar apoyo a las publicaciones.

Me pregunto.... algún curador sería capaz de no votar a un usuario con un KE "NO ACEPTABLE" por el simple echo del resultado que arroja el cociente, por más que ese usuario esté 15 horas sentado en una computadora curando contenido? Le negarían a personas por tener KE altos a pesar de haber sido promotores incansables de cada una de las dapps en web2 o incluso en sus comunidades destinando valioso tiempo y en casos hasta recursos propios? He visto campañas maravillosas de Liketu en la WEB2. En un momento Liketu aparecía por todos lados en X

Cuando se ponen estos temas sobre la mesa y comienzan las conjeturas y conclusiones de por que el valor del hive es el que es, se cae siempre en lo mismo. Se afirma: es consecuencia de los extraccionistas, de los que ven a Hive como una vaca lechera.

Es una clara muestra que no entienden nada de mercados financieros y mucho menos del mercado cripto que es exponencialmente más especulativo que los mercados financieros tradicionales.

Esas excusas me hace acordar cuando el gobierno de mi país (Argentina) dice que gran culpa de los problemas económicos y financieros que vivimos es a causa de los jubilados de los cuales casi el 90% cobra USD 200 al mes.

Hay personas que ven el problema donde quieren verlo y generalmente cortan siempre por los más débiles y otros que intentan ver cuales son las verdaderas causas de los desequilibrios.

¿En verdad ustedes cree que los 3,41 USDT del máximo o los 0,14 USDT del mínimo responde a las extracciones de los usuarios?, eso es especulación. Ya vendrán nuevamente los capitales a HIVE que de seguro va a superar los 2 USDT por HIVE y todo esto quedará sepultado por un tiempo hasta que llegué el nuevo mercado bajista y las dudas se apoderen de nosotros.

Otra cosa que hace pensar mucho y esto es serio. Pedimos de rodillas tener gobiernos de derecha, gobiernos liberales y queremos políticas socialistas, de controles, de intervención en una blockchain.

Creo que estamos frente a una gran contradicción.

Soy de los que piensa que será la misma comunidad quien regule la distribución de las recompensas y quienes realmente aportan valor más allá de las publicaciones.

¿Como hacer publicidad a Hive?

Creo que muchas veces el error comienza por la forma que "vendemos" (no me gusta esa palabra) a hive en la Web 2 o en nuestras propias comunidades.
Si decimos que es una red social que recompensa los contenidos originales, creativos y de calidad, estamos arrancando de la manera incorrecta.

Para mi hive no es algo que debamos "vender", sino algo que debemos "mostrar" para evidenciar sus potencialidades y sobre todo para enseñar que brinda soluciones de la vida real. El caso de adopción en Venezuela, los pozos de agua en países de Africa. No hay dudas que transforma vidas.

Distriator de @starkerz en una muy buena herramienta para ello, la @vsc.network es otra enorme herramienta relacionada con la inteoperabilidad, el @v4v.app que permite conectar con la Lightning Network en Bitcoin. Eso requiere tres cosas importantes de nosotros:

• Compromiso en estudiarlas
• Que usemos estas Dapps
• Que las difundamos.

De nada servirá todo el desarrollo que se hace, sino tienen volumen de operaciones.

Para terminar con el tema de este indice fijense mi KE en https://beebalanced.streamlit.app/ que "Gracias a Dios" mi KE es "ACEPTABLE" por lo cual mis palabras no representarían justificación alguna.

En este sentido adhiero a las palabras de @fermionico y con @acidyo , aunque me encuentro más coincidencias con el último mencionado sobre todo por las formas en que se expresan las ideas.

También quiero copiarles un textual traducido de la publicación de @azircon :

"El propósito del ratio KE es buscar cuentas de Hive y estimar si están invirtiendo en Hive a largo plazo. Sin embargo, como cualquier valor de corte numérico, no es perfecto ni debe usarse a ciegas."

A veces me da la sensación que a muchos de nosotros se nos hace complicado lidiar con los mercados bajistas y comenzamos a auto-sabotearnos.

Para finalizar quiero esta publicación quiero aclarar algunas expresiones inexactas (y quizá poco felices) de mi amigo @fermionico que se refirió a mi cuenta de @spendhbdarg como una casa de cambio y donde "TE CLAVAN BIEN FEO" con las comisiones que cobran (ver minuto 42 a 42:30) sin tener idea cual es la comisión, que costos se cubren con esas comisiones y sobre todo como surgió la cuenta y cual era su finalidad, pero bueno soy consciente que muchas veces en la excitación, en el entusiasmo uno se sobre gira y termina hablando cosas que desconoce, pero que aquí pasaré a explicarte.

En el mes de agosto @starkerz comenta por el grupo de Whatsapp de argentinos que vendría al país varias semanas antes de LABITCONF para promocionar @thedistriator y ver la manera de dar utilidad al HBD en Argentina, solicitando si alguno de nosotros podía ser proveedor de liquidez para justamente mostrarle a los comercios que nada saben de HIVE por estas latitudes y la respuesta fue un rotundo silencio.

Quiero aclarar que para ese entonces por diversas diferencias había quitado mi delegación a la comunidad de @hiveargentina y deje de formar parte de ella. Por allí se ha tirado la idea de falta de compromiso o falta de responsabilidad y nada más alejado de ello.

Debo confesar que ese silencio de parte de todos me dió una especie de vergüenza. Como podía ser que venía alguien de miles de kilómetros de distancia a hacer el trabajo que se necesita hacer en la Argentina y la respuesta fuese solo el silencio. Fue así que a los días me ofrecí a realizar los intercambios que fuesen necesarios para que pudiesen hacerse los cambios que fuesen necesarios mostrarle a los comercios de CABA las bondades del HBD y de Distriator. A los días esa cuenta estuvo a disposición de @starkerz y de @hiveargentina para poder demostrar a los comercios que podrían cambiar sus HBD (una moneda totalmente desconocida en el país) en pesos y así fue que se hizo.

En pocas palabras, puse en juego plata de mi bolsillo, quedé sujeto a los controles del Fisco poniendome al servicio de la comunidad de HIVE e intentar poner mi granito de arena a pesar de no poder ir a LABITCONF 2024 por el egreso de mi hija. Cuando se quiere aportar aunque tan solo sea un grano de arena se puede.

Me hubiese gustado que antes de sacar la conclusión de que "TE LA CLAVAN BIEN FEA" al menos hubieses pedido cotización, digo para sacar conclusiones, o bien me hayas mencionado que usuario con los pocos que realicé el cambio se quejó.

Ahora me pregunto?

¿Hicieron seguimiento de los comercios?, ¿fueron a consumir con HBD alguna vez después de que se haya ido @starkerz de Argentina? o ¿alguién continuo con el trabajo de la adopción en comercios de CABA?

Yo solo he visto 8 o 10 publicaciones de distriator en Argentina y quedó todo allí. Seamos serios muchachos y seamos coherentes, pero coherentes de verdad. ¿Queremos realmente la adopción, la utilidad del HBD o solo queremos granjear con un par de publicaciones?

También debo resaltar que me llamó la atención que ninguno de quienes forman parte de la comunidad de @hiveargentina que realizaron la entrevista ( @numa26 , @mamaemigrante y @palabras1 ) hiciesen aclaración al respecto. En fin.

Elijo quedarme con el @fermionico del Meet Up del 2021 en la Argentina que motivaba y que inspiraba ese entusiasmo tan maravilloso.

Así como siempre he resaltado las cosas que a mi criterio son positivas, hoy hago lo mismo con lo que creo que te equivocas.

Where to start?

Simply from the beginning and this necessarily leads us to think about what blockchain technology and the Web3 we talk about so many times. If I remember correctly when we talk about these concepts we usually refer to the democratization of the internet, the democratization of finance and many of us even think that we are living a turning point that will mark a before and after in the world of finance.

What does the democratization of the internet or the democratization of finance mean?

The democratization of finance is a process in which financial services can be accessible to more people and the same is true for the democratization of the Internet, which means that technologies and information are accessible to everyone. The purpose is simple, to improve people's lives.

Having these premises or these concepts that we will all agree on, let's go to the points of the publication.

The KE index and its repercussions.

Here again we must start at the beginning and the first thing is to know what an index is. An index is a statistical indicator that measures variables. In the case of KE it measures the sum of the Hive earned by author and healing rewards divided by the Hive Power. In a few words the [HIVE EARNED/HIVE POWER].

What does the result mean?

The KE says nothing about the work of a user in the blockchain, in the web2 promoting and any other matter that the user can dedicate to hive as for example in onboarding. I also don't think curators have either the capacity or the time to look at such variables in providing support for publications.

I wonder.... any curator would be able to not vote a user with a “NOT ACCEPTABLE” KE simply because of the result of the quotient, even if that user is 15 hours sitting at a computer curating content? Would you deny people for having high KE despite having been tireless promoters of each of the dapps in web2 or even in their communities allocating valuable time and in some cases even their own resources? I have seen wonderful campaigns of Liketu in WEB2. At one point Liketu was appearing everywhere on X

When these issues are put on the table and the conjectures and conclusions begin as to why the value of hive is the way it is, the same thing always comes up. It is stated: it is a consequence of the extractionists, of those who see Hive as a cash cow.

It is a clear sign that they understand nothing of financial markets and much less of the crypto market which is exponentially more speculative than traditional financial markets.

These excuses remind me of when the government of my country (Argentina) says that a great part of the economic and financial problems we are experiencing is due to the retirees of which almost 90% receive USD 200 per month.

There are people who see the problem where they want to see it and generally always cut the weakest and others who try to see what are the real causes of the imbalances.

I think that many times the mistake starts with the way we “sell” (I don't like that word) hive on Web 2 or in our own communities.
If we say that it is a social network that rewards original, creative and quality content, we are starting in the wrong way.

For me, hive is not something we should “sell”, but something we should “show” to demonstrate its potential and above all to show that it provides real life solutions. The case of adoption in Venezuela, the water wells in African countries. There is no doubt that it transforms lives.

Distriator by @starkerz in a very good tool for that, the @vsc.network is another huge tool related to inteoperability, the @v4v.app that allows you to connect to the Lightning Network in Bitcoin. That requires three important things from us:

Commitment to study them.
That we use these Dapps
That we spread them.
All the development that is done will be of no use, if they do not have volume of operations.

To finish with the subject of this index, look at my KE in https://beebalanced.streamlit.app/ that “Thank God” my KE is “ACCEPTABLE” so my words would not represent any justification.

In this sense I agree with the words of @fermionico and with @acidyo , although I find more coincidences with the last one mentioned above all for the ways in which the ideas are expressed.

I also want to copy you a textual translated from the publication of @azircon :

I have only seen 8 or 10 distriator publications in Argentina and it all stayed there. Let's be serious guys and let's be coherent, but really coherent. Do we really want the adoption, the usefulness of HBD or do we just want to make money with a couple of publications?

I should also point out that I was surprised that none of the members of the @hiveargentina community who conducted the interview (@numa26, @mamaemigrante and @palabras1) made any clarification on the matter. Anyway.

I choose to stay with the @fermionico from the 2021 Meet Up in Argentina who motivated and inspired such wonderful enthusiasm.

Just as I have always highlighted the things that in my opinion are positive, today I do the same with what I think you are wrong.
