Witnesses are the silent engines powering Hive — validating blocks, securing the chain, and helping shape its future. But who are they beyond the nodes? In this ongoing series that I started a few weeks ago, I’ve interviewed key Hive witnesses to explore their visions, challenges, and hopes for the platform. Here’s a snapshot of what I have learned so far from our first five guests:
On this week edition, I will be bringing to you all the second edition of my interview recap with the last five Hive witnesses that were interviewed on this show. To catch up on the first edition, here is the link to the recap for the first five witnesses that were interviewed on Meet Our Hive Witnesses With Dhavey.
@Actifit
Meet Our Hive Witnesses # 6: A Conversation with @actifit – The Heartbeat Behind Hive Fitness
In this sixth episode of Meet Our Hive Witnesses, i had the pleasure of hosting @actifit the passionate force behind the Actifit project, one of Hive’s pioneering fitness dApps. As a long-standing Hive witness, @actifit shared deep insights into the duties, impact, and vision of a true Hive builder.
From block production to running multiple Hive infrastructure nodes, @actifit emphasized the importance of decentralization, transparency, and community-driven innovation. With projects like the HAF block explorer UI and the long-standing success of the Actifit app, their contribution to Hive’s ecosystem is both practical and visionary.
They see witness competition as healthy and believe that positive community engagement, open feedback, and social media promotion are vital to Hive’s growth. While defending Hive’s DPoS model, @actifit called for increased community participation and proposed stronger outreach, not stricter reforms.
The message Actifit passed is clear: the role of a witness is not just technical, it’s also about active community involvement and creating tools that make Hive better for everyone..

Meet Our Hive Witnesses # 7: @thebbhproject — The Heart That Gives Back
In this seventh edition of Meet Our Hive Witnesses, i sat down with a community-first Hive witness: @thebbhproject the driving force behind the BBH token, a project rooted in generosity and community support.
Unlike many witnesses who build dApps or focus strictly on infrastructure, @thebbhproject stands out by giving back. Through the BBH Project, he channels witness rewards directly into community support for project members and token holders.
With just six months as a Hive witness, his clarity of purpose is refreshing: secure the blockchain, stay active, and keep giving back. He’s not trying to compete, he’s focused on contribution.
He emphasized the need for education as the key to Hive’s progress, from understanding witness roles to responsible voting. While he believes Hive’s DPoS model is sound, he challenges users to become more involved in change, rather than waiting for it.
Above all, @thebbhproject wants to be remembered as the witness who showed up with a positive mindset, consistent transparency, and a heart for sharing. A humble approach. A big vision. And a strong commitment to the Hive community.

@stayoutoftherz
Meet Our Hive Witnesses # 8: @stayoutoftherz — The Witness with a Voice, a Vision, and a Heart
In this week’s spotlight, we step into the fascinating world of @stayoutoftherz , a Hive witness, content creator, curator, and a passionate advocate for equity, community education, and creative engagement.
More than just a block producer, @stayoutoftherz is a storyteller, a chess lover, and the founder of Hivetorch, a project championing active contribution within the Hive ecosystem. What sets him apart? He’s not an IT professional, and proudly so. His witness journey shows that any dedicated individual can run a node, make an impact, and keep the Hive flame burning.
His loyalty to Hive is unwavering , he’s never powered down. He’s crafted layperson-friendly tutorials, championed educational efforts, and continuously curates underrated creators. In his own words, “I don't compare what others do. I just show up, build, support, and contribute.”
Yet, @stayoutoftherz doesn’t shy away from truth. He boldly critiques the DPoS structure, calling for fairer vote distribution and smoother reward curves. He dreams of more collaboration, open dialogue among top witnesses, and a professional communication culture, ideas that could reshape Hive’s future.
A silent block-signer? Far from it. He’s a voice of balance, curious, bold, humble, and deeply human.
And that’s exactly why my conversation with him was one you shouldn’t have missed.

@Wrestorgonline
Meet the Mind Behind WOO # 9: @wrestorgonline — The Witness Who’s Wrestling for Decentralization
This week, we shine the spotlight on a powerhouse in both the Hive ecosystem and the digital wrestling world — @wrestorgonline, a long-standing Hive witness and the creative force behind Wrestling Organization Online (WOO).
Known for his laid-back honesty and deep commitment to Hive’s decentralization, @wrestorgonline doesn’t just run servers, he’s building an entire blockchain-based wrestling universe where strategy meets sport, and where community meets competition.
With over two years of service, he sees the witness role plainly: “Keep the chain decentralized and running. That’s the job.” Humble in tone but profound in purpose, he’s using his witness earnings not for self-promotion, but to support retired wrestlers, bridging Web3 tech with real-world impact.
Unlike many witnesses, he doesn’t worry about ranking or competition. “I’m just glad to have a small part,” he says. His thoughts on governance are equally grounded: the current voting process is enough. If you want better representation, get involved. Educate. Vote.
He openly dismisses the myth that Hive witnesses hold unchecked power, pointing to past events like the Justin Sun saga as proof of the community’s resilience.
And what does he want to be remembered for? Not fame, not code. Just for helping wrestlers and building something meaningful through Hive and WOO.

@Rishi556
Meet @Rishi556 # 10: The Witness who is Code-driven and future-focused.
In this milestone 10th edition, i speak with @rishi556 a Hive witness and programmer who's not only keeping the chain running, but also running multiple seed nodes and building his own blocks
Straightforward and deeply technical, @rishi556 emphasizes the core witness duty: “Produce blocks. Period.” He’s big on decentralization through participation and believes Hive governance works, we just need more users to care and vote.
No fluff, no ego. Just a developer quietly pushing Hive forward, one line of code at a time.

On this week Meet our hive witnesses with Dhavey, those are the recaps from my last five previous interviews.
So far so good, these five witnesses that I have interviewed bring diverse skills and visions to Hive’s future and community. They share a commitment to Hive’s growth, decentralization, and community empowerment. As Hive users, our 30 witness votes are powerful, they help decide who will steward the chain forward. Make your votes count and support the voices that align with your vision for Hive’s next chapter!
