I've gotten over milk tea. Now I'm into Koomi! It's better for my sensitive tummy too, hehe. It's a yogurt drink with plenty of fruit combinations you can choose from. There are some non-fruit options, but I'm not into them. You can check the menu at the end of this article.
If my memory serves me right, this #guiltlessgoodness opened in SM City Cebu last year. But since the lockdown, SM City Cebu and other Cebu City malls for that matter--except Ayala Center Cebu--are already too far from me. I prefer walking now, and the latter is only a 5-minute walking distance from my place.
I like the aesthetics of this place, and purple happens to be my favorite color too. The crew are quite friendly as well. We like hanging out at shops with a cheerful crew, right?
They even allow my dog Tiger to go with me inside the shop. He's smelling the door in the photo.
The space is too narrow though. The other customers stayed at the other end to order because Tiger sat in the middle. We should sit at the far corner next time, but it was occupied.
The far corner is now empty, and this is how it looks. It's a tutti-frutti bar.
My first order was a Dragon Funana with honey and Australian-blend yogurt. Yep, it's my favorite dragon fruit and banana combo. I used to make this at home with Greek yogurt. Australian yogurt is tasty too. Actually, all yogurt are tasty to me, hehe.
The next time I dropped by, I tried "Why Not, Coconut?"--the coconut with activated charcoal with honey and Philippine-blend yogurt with purple rice. It's good for digestion, I tell you. And purple rice is chewy and sweet.
Tiger was quite curious, and I let him have some. He approved. More Koomi with him in the future.
This is "Will Ube Mine?", an ube blend. You can get a 20% discount if you show your COVID-19 vax card at the counter.
The Koomi shop has a cute interior design. I just love the pop of colors.
I have also tried "Boppin' Boba," Philippine-blend yogurt with boba pearls. This is the substitute to my milk tea addiction, hehe. One time with my cousin, we also had "Avo Nice Day," avocado with Australian-blend yogurt. A best seller indeed.
But there are more fruit flavors to try, and soon, they will also be serving froyos. A cup at a time. A cup at a time. πΈπ
