As adulthood hits on this early 20s, I already had a glimpse of the pressure on the responsibilities I must be aware of as I grow older. But it all comes with comfort when faced with a portion of hot freshly-brewed or an iced creamy coffee. When everything feels heavy and confusing, I always run into the nearest coffee shop or café to get something that clears my mind – an Iced Caramel Macchiato.
If you have been an avid reader of my previous blogs, I know you already have an idea on how I visit restaurants, coffee shops, and try other foods to brighten up my mood. And I guess here’s to another introduction of one of the best cafes near me that serves a good cup of coffee. Let me give you the chance to experience being in Twinniz Café at Castillejos, Zambales.
This café has different branches around the province, and the closest one to me is located in our neighboring town. It was just an ordinary afternoon when I craved for an iced coffee, so I decided to get out of my bed and go on with it.
It will take me around 20-30 minutes of ride before I get to this café. And I am lucky that it was located along the national highway for an easier access. Since I do not have my own car yet, I had to travel in a public utility vehicle. As soon as I got there, I already chose a spot where I can relax and a staff offered their menu.
The only thing I have in mind is sipping their iced caramel macchiato, but when the menu was handed over to me, I found myself checking out their available sandwiches too. They offer different ones, like Vegetarian Sandwich, Egg Sandwich, and more. But what caught my attention was the Flavored Chicken Sandwich, and I decided to try it too.
I went to the counter and ordered the coffee along with the sandwich, and the staff suggested if I could avail their add-ons. I said yes, and I chose fries as the side dish of my sandwich. After telling the cashier about my order, I went back to my seat and waited for a few minutes as they prepare the food and drinks that I chose.
The wait is over when I saw one of the staffs walking towards me, and served my orders on my table. It's time for a feast, I say. The smell of the coffee was too strong, and I could feel the aroma deep down. I started stirring up the coffee and put a pair of gloves on before eating the Chicken Sandwich.
I did not bother eating alone, and I just enjoyed the portion of good foods I have on my table. The coffee was really good, and I admire the barista who made it. Also, having the Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich was worth it. It was really good and satisfying.
Aside from the satisfying foods, it was also a fun experience being in this cafe because of the ambiance and the vibe inside. Twinniz Cafe is indeed a gem for me, and I will surely go back here once in a while. I loved their coffee, and they have a wide range of options for meals and sandwiches. I will recommend this cafe to whoever wants to try a good sip of iced or hot coffee.
