Use a full-flavoured cheese for this recipe and you’ll be rewarded with an extremely tasty tarts – great for lunch or dinner!
Dear my Foodies Bee Hive Community, this is Jessica @linh2jess. This is my very first post here to share my cooking experiences with you guys. And today's recipe will bring to you these cheese, bacon, pasta and onion tarts which provides plenty of protein, a flaky crust. It can be really enjoyed when it hot from your oven.
Let's start~
1. Ingredients:
. Puff pastry tart shells or instant mini tart shells (9-10pcs)
. 4-6 bacon rashers
. 40gram pasta
. 1 onion
. 2 eggs
. 100grams cheese (cheddar/ mozzarella/ blue cheese...)
. Salt and crushed peper.
. 10-20ml oliver oil
. Carrot and beans if need
2. Tools:
. Mixing bowls
. Spatula
3. Prepared step:
. Thaw the frozen instant tart shells
. Boiled eggs and chop them.
. Boil pasta then chop it when finish.
. Dice the onion
. Chop the bacon rashers.
. Chop/dice carrot and bean if you add them
. Shred the cheese
. Preheat the oven 190°C before baking 10mins.
4. Making cheese, bacon, pasta and onion tarts
Step 1: Fry onion and bacon until they be golden brown. Stir regularly to ensure the mixture doesn’t stick.
Step 2: Mix all the chopped/ diced ingredients in prepared steps, add oliver oil, salt and crushed peper.
Use spatula to mix them well.
Step 3: Fill mixture into the tart shells.
Put the shredded cheese on the top.
Step 4: Bake the tarts in oven in 30-45mins until the cheese be melted and brown.
