Ingredients
Protein
- 1 Spanish mackerel
Spices
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/4 turmeric
- 1/2 dried oregano
- 1/4 pepper
Vegetable
- some red cabbages
- some broccoli
Additional
- water
- oil of your preference
How to cook
First : Wash the mackerel and let it sit. Mix all the spices and add some spoons of water until it forms a liquid batter. Put the mackerel in the plate and spread the batter from side to side. Let the mackerel soaked for 25 minutes. while you are at it, do something else. Stretch, whatever fits you.
Second : Boil the vegetables for 10 minutes. Don't boil the vegetables too long like I did. Once it's done, simmer it.
Fourth : Heat the pan to medium heat and add coconut oil or of your own preference. Place the mackerel and cook it for about 7 minutes each side, don't flip it too often.
Fifth : Serve it with the boiled vegetables while it's hot. Sprinkle it with oregano.
Garnish : Oregano

If you are wondering what I add to that plate, it's leftover spiced tofu. I bought it yesterday and would be a waste not to eat it. Something I find intriguing was how the red cabbage turned its color as if it has some coloring. But as I found, it changes the color because the PH of the water.
So, that was my meal during my big meal. Unlike what most people thought, it was easy for me to not eat rice anymore. I am doing fine without rice and my life is great without it. I feel I have more energy and less sluggish too.
