[Esp-Eng] Pancakes with strawberries and hazelnut cream

To start this week with a lot of sweetness, I share with you this delicious and easy to prepare idea.

This dessert is ideal for a coffee afternoon with friends or for snack time.

Personally, I am a lover of strawberries with chocolate or cream, I love the combination of acid and sweet, but if you prefer to give it your touch, you can add some other fruit, so without further ado let's start with the preparation.

Para comenzar esta semana con mucha dulzura, les comparto esta idea deliciosa y muy fácil de preparar.

Este postrecito es ideal para una tarde de café con amigos o para la hora de la merienda.

En lo personal, soy amante de las fresas con chocolate o crema, me encanta la combinación de lo ácido y lo dulce, pero si prefieres darle tu toque, puedes añadir alguna otra fruta, así que sin más comencemos con la preparación.

Ingredients:

For the mini pancakes (2 people)

2 eggs

1 cup leavening wheat flour

1/4 cup of milk or Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

For the plating:

6 strawberries (if you want you can add more or less).

4 tablespoons hazelnut cream with cocoa or chocolate cream.

Para el contorno:

6 fresas (si quieres puedes agregar más o menos)

4 cucharadas de crema de avellanas con cacao o crema de chocolate

Preparation:

We start with the mini pancakes, for this we will mix in a bowl or bowl with the eggs with the vanilla essence and milk until unified, finally add and beat with enveloping movements the flour.

If you want you can add sugar or the sweetener of your preference to the pancake mixture, I left them simple because the sweetness of the hazelnut cream is more than enough.

Preparación:

Comenzamos con las mini panquecas, para ello vamos a mezclar en un tazón o bowl los huevos con la esencia de vainilla y la leche hasta unificar, por último agregamos y batimos con movimientos envolventes la harina.

Si quieres puedes agregar azúcar o el endulzante de tu preferencia a la mezcla de las panquecas, yo las dejé así simples porque con lo dulce de la crema de avellanas es más que suficiente.

Now we are going to cook until golden brown in a previously heated pan or griddle, with this griddle I am using it is not necessary to add oil because it is non-stick but if the food tends to stick to your pan I recommend adding a teaspoon of vegetable oil first.

Ahora vamos cocinar hasta que estén doradas en una sartén o plancha previamente caliente, con esta plancha que estoy usando no es necesario añadir aceite porque es antiadherente pero si los alimentos tienden a pegarse en tu sartén te recomiendo agregar primero una cucharadita de aceite vegetal.

That said, cook the mini pancakes on both sides over medium heat until golden brown, in total I got 14, the first two I ate them doing quality control 😂 and the other 12 to assemble the decoration on two plates.

Dicho esto, cocinamos las mini panquecas por ambos lados a fuego medio hasta que estén doradas, en total me salieron 14, las primeras dos me las comí haciendo control de calidad 😂 y las otras 12 para armar el decorado en dos platos.

Then chop the strawberries into slices and we go to the last step, the assembly, for this we are interspersing pancakes and strawberry slices, I did it in the form of flower, but you can do it your way 😄 finally add small portions of hazelnut cream or chocolate, half a tablespoon to form the small tips and ready, and we have this treat to eat and share.

Luego pica las fresas en rodajas y nos vamos al último paso, el armado, para ello vamos intercalando panquequitas y rodajas de fresa, yo lo hice en forma de flor, pero puedes hacerlo a tú modo 😄 por último agrega pequeñas porciones de la crema de avellanas o chocolate, media cucharada para formar los piquitos y listo, ya tenemos esta delicia para comer y compartir.
