I know I mentioned last month that it recently occurred to me that I have a bunch of @ecency points burnin' a hole in my wallet, so I'm going to come up with some criteria (I don't want to make something like this a random prize), and add some Ecency point upvotes to the prize pool. I wanted to do that for January, but didn't have a chance to sit down & figure it out. Hoping to have it ready next month.
Something else that occurred to me last month, thanks to a comment by @idksamad78699 is the possiblity of offering RC delegations as prizes, but the more I
overthought about it, the more I realized that's not really a good fit for Power Up Day. We have some new-to-Hive accounts joining in, but not really very many of those who would benefit most from having more RC. I have a couple of ideas about something else to do instead, and I'm hoping to have it put together by early in this new year, so please stay tuned!And as always, don't forget the now monthly Hive Power Up Month Challenge by @hivebuzz is still going strong. Be sure to keep an eye on @hivebuzz for information and more awesome initiative like that - follow them (on Hive and on Twitter) so you don't miss out on any announcements (plus, they're wicked cool peeps!).
