Another Power Up Day has come and gone, and for the second month in a row, we've had a new ATH (all time high) number of participants for #HivePUD! Not only that, this month @hivebuzz came very close to beating their previous ATH of 496 participants back in June 2022, with 490 people powering up at least 10 Hive during the UTC hours on the first (and earning a super cool badge in the process). Seems to me that the Hive blockchain community isn't all that fazed by this bear market. 😁

Speaking of the awesome Hive Buzz team, it seems recently their The Hive Gamification Proposal for 2022 dropped below the threshold and was defunded for a bit. It's back to being funded again but to help keep it up there, please take a peek at their post and consider casting your vote to show your appreciation for all the amazeballs things they do for our blockchain community.

Also, in case you missed my Important Announcement about HivePUD on Wednesday, this post isn't actually late (for a change...lol) - this awesome bump up in participation has led me to bump out the time a bit so I can have plenty of time to get the results sorted each month,

 

Reminder for the Hive Power Up Day prize sponsors - as I mentioned in June 2022, it's much easier for me to do the prize drawings the morning after this post, since this Official Winners List tends to go out late in the day on the 5th the 7th . So from now on, please expect the names of your prize winners at some point earlyish (yes that's a word...maybe...lol) tomorrow.

Speaking of getting these posts out, as always I've set a 20% beneficiary for this last HivePUD post of the month to my numbers man extraordinaire, @abh12345, who is a large part of the reason I'm able to get the results put together before the next Power Up Day happens! 😄

One more thing before I get to the final results, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this month's #HivePUD, either through powering up, posting, offering prizes, or spreading the word.

This month, we had:

• 211 posts on the 1st tagged with #HivePUD, #HPUD, and/or #HispanicHPUD tags.

• 12,765.200 Hive (worth approx $6,127.30 USD) powered up from Hive Power Up Day participants during the hours of the first via their local time.
• 48,305 Hive (worth approx $23,261.27 USD) powered up by 490 people during the 24 hour UTC time set to earn @hivebuzz badges (check out their Feedback from the October 1st Hive Power Up Day post for more info).
