Have you ever heard of multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB)? If you have not, don't feel bad - you are probably in the majority.
Yet, in a reasonable world, you certainly would have. If for no other reason, then because it is a real threat, an insidious infection which, though not as easily spreadable as flu or COVID, is likely to shorten your life and make you miserable while you are living with it.
What is it? It is tuberculosis that has mutated to be resistant against antibiotics commonly used to treatment of TB. Its likely origin is prisons in countries like Russia and India where due to endemic corruption inmates suffering from TB were not receiving full courses of antibiotics thus allowing new strains of the bacteria to emerge. It is by now spread to all four corners of the world though it is more common in poorer countries of the third world. And, unlike regular TB, which is still quite an ordeal, this one is currently considered to not be curable in the majority of cases.
So once again, have you heard of it? Have people who are so eager to see you mask up against COVID, or to be vaccinated against it, ever asked you if you've been screened for TB (whether the regular TB or the MDR version)? If the answer to that question is in the negative, why would you think that is?
Personally, I've taken to challenging members of the COVID cult on their knowledge of, and stance regarding, MDR TB. I think it is a nice way to highlight the shortcomings of their cult - because if one insists on severe measures to control the largely harmless COVID but insists on doing little to nothing to control the spread of MDR TB one has to be either ignorant or hypocritical.
As always - seek your own knowledge, do your own research, draw your own conclusions.
