This weeks question was proposed by @stillgideon whilst we were chatting about a few posts i made on Facebook.
One of them was a surprise video i made of Gideon using an App called reface. This App lets you very easily upload an image taken from a friends Facebook profile and overlays their face onto a famous actor in one of Hollywood’s great movies. It works very well and, in a way, is a bit unnerving to see yourself so easily deep faked. Times are surely changing and it seems the line between reality and the digital world are becoming blurred. As far as this kind of thing goes, this is just the start! Another conversation thread we were having was in response to a very interesting video of Dutch politician Thierry Baudet. This politician exposes The Rockefeller Lock Step Plan In The Dutch Senate .. a plan that almost exactly follows the path that we’ve seen with COVID-19.

Gideon asked me "I'd like to hear your predictions for 20 and 200 years".. What a question!.. "So would I" , I responded.. as this is not something that is very easy to answer. I think its fair to say that we could go in almost any direction at this point forward. and no one can say or even see which way that is likely to be with any certainty.. Personally I am an optimist for various reasons, and so i can see things moving in a very positive direction.. but perhaps not without a few bumps in the road..

Nevertheless, its not hard to imagine a world where technology is use to free us, to provide us with everything we need to live and be comfortable.. and with money as we know it totally eradicated.. It is true that technology, and especially the kind of technology that is coming very soon, can make money quite irrelevant.

On the other hand, looking how things seem to be going lately.. things could go into a much more dystopian world where big brother rules us, and drones fly around autonomously killing people that they deem to be a threat, and our climate is devastated even more etc etc .

It is very hard to know if we are all waking up or being put to sleep sometimes.. and so this week we would like to hear what you think! What do YOU think this world will look like in 20 and 200 years.. Whilst 20 years may not sound like so long, think how far we have come since the year 2000.. or indeed 1700s! You can of course focus on anything.. your predictions can be about inventions, ideas, ethics, climate, technology, language, crypto or anything you like. Some simple examples are Life expectancy will rise past 100. ... Computers will be invisible. ... Books will be dead. ... Your every move will be tracked. ... World's population will reach 8 billion. ... China will be the world's largest economy. ... We'll have self-driving cars... It will be normal to retire at 70... or something completely different!

Whatever you have to say, I look forward to hearing it and discovering our collective perspective. This week i have no idea what our general consensus will be.. or what your predicitions are for the future.. I wait with bated breath for your post on this most interesting Question Of The Week! Lets hope @stillgideon posts.. although I think he wrote a book on it on Hive already!
