Botany is a broad term covering scientific study of plants. It could be from a small living organism to a tree. Included would be flora, fungi, lichens, trees and flowering plants.
We are also interested in plants for their psychological (good for the mind & soul) benefits.
Now I would like to bring your attention to the curated posts and ask you to show some love to the amazing authors:
@gems.and.cookies has a low maintenance sturdy plant in his home called Pothos. It serves to purify the air. According to Feng Shui this plant attracts good luck.
- @andreaa22 selected three house plants that will help the environment in the home. For a healthy mind and body it is important to maintain an environment calm and peaceful.
- @popurri explains the importance of color in plants. Not all flowers attract by fragrance, but also by shape and colors. Bright colors are a survival mechanism of the species and yellow is one of the most attractive.
- @soulsdetour’s blog reminds us to make sure the trees/bushes we plant are not too much to clean up when the blossoms and leaves fall around the yard. The Paulownia tree is beautiful to see but sheds large leaves and blossoms. On the plus side it is a great workout cleaning the fallouts from the tree.
