Cuando estaba en el Festival Lima Teje ví gente usando variedades de ropas y accesorios tejidos, desde ponchos, chompas hasta curiosos gorros de conejito... Eso me recordó que en las ilustraciones de Guaman Poma de Ayala, las tejedoras usaban una diadema o cintillo en la cabeza.
When I was at the Lima Teje Festival, I saw people wearing a variety of woven clothing and accessories, from ponchos and sweaters to curious bunny hats... That reminded me that in Guaman Poma de Ayala's illustrations, the knitters wore a headband or headband on their heads.

Decidí hacerme una diadema para usarlo a diario, aunque lo único cercano que usé fueron las vinchas (las usaba de niña), las cuales me apretaban por la zona de las orejas. Mi desconocimiento en Diademas hizo que me quedara de 2 cm de ancho. Además, al no dominar el Punto Apache, la parte final me quedó con puntos extra...Sí, tocó destejer.
I decided to make myself a headband to wear every day, although the only thing I had ever worn before were hairbands (I used to wear them as a child), which pressed down on my ears. My lack of knowledge about headbands meant that I ended up with one that was 2 cm wide. In addition, since I didn't know how to do Apache stitch, the final part ended up with additional stitches.
Hace unos años tejí una Cartuchera con este punto. Por eso, tenía en mente qué figuras podía formar. Utilicé 2 colores para volver a dominar la técnica.
A few years ago, I crocheted a pencil case using this stitch. So I had an idea of what shapes I could make. I used 2 colors to master the technique again.
El diseño final fue como unas escaleritas hacia el infinito, jaja. Creí que si utilizaba colores rojizos sería similar a las Diademas que usan en las Tribus Amazónicas. Por eso opté por el azul.
The final design was like a little staircase to infinity, jaja. I thought that if I used reddish colors, it would be similar to the headbands worn by Amazonian tribes. That's why I opted for blue.
Creo que le agregaré 3 escaleras más (3 vueltas) para que cubra más área. Cierto, cuando tejo accesorios o prendas de vestir, por lo general uso un crochet de mayor tamaño para tejerlo suelto. Esta vez usé uno de 2.5 mm y tejerlo fue relajante.
Ya sabes, en crochet pacha hago cosas distintas. Este segmento es para seguir aprendiendo más del crochet y pronto los 2 palitos o agujas.
I think I'll add 3 more steps (3 rows) so it covers more area. That's right, when I crochet accessories or clothing, I usually use a larger hook to make it looser. This time I used a 2.5 mm hook and it was relaxing to crochet.
You already know, in crochet pacha I do different things. This segment is for continuing to learn more about crochet and soon knitting with sticks or two needles.
