Hola apreciada comunidad de la creatividad, hoy quiero compartirles mi idea de reutilizar las cosas o prendas de vestir que ya no utilizas en algo útil.
Revisando y ordenando el closet, encontré una braga playera que tenía mucho tiempo guardada, cuando me la probé, me quedo un poco ajustada en la parte de arriba, decidí transformarla en un short muy cómodo, ya que es una tela muy suave y fresca, para este clima de calor y playa acá en la Isla de Margarita.
Hello dear community of creativity, today I want to share with you my idea of reusing things or clothes that you no longer use in something useful.
When I tried it on, it was a little tight at the top, so I decided to transform it into a very comfortable short, since it is a very soft and cool fabric, for this hot weather and beach here on Margarita Island.

Lo primero que hice fue medir en la braga, de la cintura hacia arriba 6 cmts hacia arriba con una cinta métrica y cortar.
The first thing I did was to measure on the panty, from the waist upwards 6 cmts upwards with a tape measure and cut.
Doble la tela hacia la parte de adentro, fije con alfileres, hilvane con aguja e hilo para hacer el dobles dejando un pequeño espacio por donde pasaremos la goma elástica.
Fold the fabric to the inside, fix with pins, baste with needle and thread to make the doubles leaving a small space where we will pass the rubber band.
Como la tela es tan suave, planche el borde para marcar bien y que sea más fácil al momento de pasar la costura en la máquina de coser, pasamos la costura por la parte marcada a mano, dejando el espacio para introducir la elástica, luego hacemos otra costura pequeña en la parte de arriba para que quede una pretina arriba de la goma, para darle mejor forma.
As the fabric is so soft, iron the edge to mark it well and make it easier when sewing in the sewing machine, we pass the seam through the marked part by hand, leaving the space to introduce the elastic, then we make another small seam at the top to leave a waistband on top of the rubber band, to give it a better shape.
Por la abertura que se dejó, introducimos la elástica con mucho cuidado que no se vaya a soltar de la aguja, jalando hasta llegar al otro extremo donde anudamos bien las puntas de la elástica.
Through the opening that was left, we introduce the elastic with great care so that it does not come loose from the needle, pulling until we reach the other end where we knot the ends of the elastic well.
Introducimos bien la elástica de manera que no se vea el nudo y cerramos la abertura, limpiamos los hilos sobrantes, para terminar.
We introduce the elastic well so that the knot is not visible and close the opening, clean the excess threads, to finish.
Bueno, no soy costurera, pero cuando me propongo hacer algo, le pongo empeño hasta lograrlo, de verdad me quedo súper bien, muy cómodo, como nuevo y a la medida, solo hay que atreverse.

Así quedo mi short, de verdad muy satisfecha de haber aprovechado esta prenda de vestir.
