El otro día estuve pensando en como las cosas pueden llegar a desanimarnos, al punto de quitarnos el gozo de vivir una vida que, indistintamente de las cosas por las que estemos pasando, ciertamente es bella.
Cuando estamos pasando por un momento difícil, solemos usar la metáfora de una nube negra que está encima de nosotros, para ilustrar aquella situación tan complicada. Pensar en ello me inspiró un poco en este dibujo que titulé "Nube pasajera". Espero les guste.
Hace poco, aproximadamente una semana, estuve en un par de actividades del discord de algunas comunidades de Hive. En ambas actividades los ánimos de algunos no estaba del todo alto, en mi caso yo tenía los ánimos por el suelo a causa de situaciones que no vienen al caso.
En una de las actividades, en el servidor de aliento, compartimos un rato y jugamos un juego en linea, con el que logramos distraer la mente y animarnos un poco. Fue muy bonita esa actividad...

Otra de las actividades fue el programa de dos compañeras a quienes aprecio mucho, marybellrg y mafalda2018 (usuarios de Hive). El programa fue muy animador y motivador, allí se nos dieron palabras de estímulo para seguir adelante y no rendirnos ante los golpes y dificultades de la vida.
Entre música y comentarios positivos, todos terminamos contentos al finalizar la actividad.

Estas dos actividades me hicieron pensar en lo que les comenté al comienzo, en que podemos tener una nube negra que haga que nuestra vida pierda un poco de color y se torne gris. Pero todo tiene un lado positivo...
Volviendo al dibujo, aquí pueden ver cómo quedó el boceto inicial. Una persona arrodillada y sonriente.
Como dije, fue el boceto inicial, pero después le hice algunas modificaciones para darle un toque más estilizado. Por eso siempre es bueno hacer bocetos, para poder visualizar cómo va quedando un dibujo y, si no nos gusta, borrarlo y hacerlo otra vez.
En el dibujo hice una flor. ¿Por qué una flor? Pues bien, es un simbolismo. Verán, aunque tengamos esa nube negra en nuestra vida, el agua que cae puede ser beneficiosa para las plantas y hacer que estas florezcan.
De igual manera, lo malo que nos pase, puede servirnos de lección para crecimiento personal, como aprendizaje o simplemente como una lección de vida. Así como una planta puede sacar provecho de una tormenta, así nosotros también podemos hacerlo...
El tono del dibujo decidí hacerlo en escala de grises. Esos fueron los colores que utilicé para colorear al personaje principal.
A continuación pueden ver cómo apliqué los colores base en el cuerpo del personaje y luego apliqué ciertas sombras.

Lo siguiente fue la decoración del paisaje, con la mencionada nube oscura y un paisaje tan gris como la propia nube.

Ahora bien, como les dije, la flor es un simbolismo de esperanza y alegría, a pesar de todo lo malo por lo que estemos pasando, así que no la dibujé a blanco y negro, sino a color.
A continuación pueden ver cómo comencé a aplicar los colores base, luego las sombras y finalmente el fondo de color.

Lo último que hice fue agregar lluvia, una correción de colores y más sombras y luminosidad donde fuese necesario. A continuación pueden ver el resultado final:
Es un dibujo sencillo, pero al menos para mi tiene un gran significado. Todos podemos encontrar algo de color y felicidad en nuestra vida, a pesar de que estemos debajo de un aguacero, con nubes negras y cargadas a nuestro alrededor. Sin importar lo negra que sea, sin importar lo mucho que llueva, toda nube es pasajera...

The other day I was thinking about how things can discourage us to the point of taking away the joy of living a life that, regardless of the things we are going through, is certainly beautiful.
When we are going through a difficult moment, we usually use the metaphor of a black cloud above us, to illustrate that complicated situation. Thinking about it inspired me a little in this drawing that I titled "Passing Cloud". I hope you like it.
Recently, about a week ago, I was in a couple of discord activities of some Hive communities. In both activities the spirits of some people were not very high, in my case I had my spirits down because of situations that do not come to the case.
In one of the activities, in the encouragement server, we shared some time and played an online game, with which we were able to distract the mind and cheer up a little. It was a very nice activity...

Another activity was the program of two colleagues whom I appreciate very much, marybellrg and mafalda2018 (Hive users). The program was very encouraging and motivating, there we were given words of encouragement to move forward and not give up in the face of the blows and difficulties of life.

As I said, it was the initial sketch, but later I made some modifications to give it a more stylized touch. That's why it's always good to make sketches, to be able to visualize how a drawing is coming out and, if we don't like it, erase it and do it again.
In the drawing I made a flower. Why a flower? Well, it is a symbolism. You see, even if we have that black cloud in our life, the water that falls can be beneficial for the plants and make them bloom.
In the same way, the bad things that happen to us, can serve as a lesson for personal growth, as learning or simply as a life lesson. Just as a plant can take advantage of a storm, so can we...
The tone of the drawing I decided to do it in grayscale. Those were the colors I used to color the main character.
Below you can see how I applied the base colors on the body of the character and then I applied some shadows.

Next was the landscape decoration, with the aforementioned dark cloud and a landscape as gray as the cloud itself.

Now, as I told you, the flower is a symbolism of hope and joy, despite all the bad things we are going through, so I didn't draw it in black and white, but in color.
Below you can see how I started applying the base colors, then the shadows and finally the background color.

The last thing I did was to add rain, a color correction and more shadows and luminosity where needed. Below you can see the final result:
It is a simple drawing, but at least for me it has a great meaning. We can all find some color and happiness in our life, even though we are under a downpour, with black, heavy clouds all around us. No matter how black it is, no matter how much it rains, every cloud is passing....
