Greetings to all of you, fellows. Some of you know that, among other things, I also love video games. Just because I don't have a console or PC Gamer doesn't mean I don't like them.
However, I have had the opportunity to play console games when I was a kid, in fact my best memories of video games come from that time, playing those games that today are considered retro.
In my memories I keep with great affection the Megaman X sagas, the Crash Bandicoot games and the game that concerns us today, Strider.

One day, someone suggested me to play another game, because someone was already playing Megaman in the room. They suggested Strider, which was a platform game that I was supposed to feel good about.

With this in mind, I wanted to make this figure, in memory of that character so emblematic for me. I will show you the step by step of this figure as I continue telling you about it...
The materials to make this figure were the following: wire, thread, liquid silicone, plasticine and paint; also, I used a knitting needle, wooden sticks and sewing needles for molding.

Con esto en mente, quise hacer esta figura, en recuerdo a aquel personaje tan emblemático para mi. Les mostraré el paso a paso de esta figura mientras continúo contándoles...
Los materiales para hacer esta figura fueron los siguientes: alambre, hilo, silicón líquido, plastilina y pintura; además, usé una aguja de tejer, palillos de madera y agujas de coser para moldear.

The character Hiryu is a technological ninja, that was one of the things that I thought was cool about the game. Come on, I came from only playing Megaman X, so in a way this character, who uses a sword, reminded me a lot of Zero, who was also an expert in the use of the sword.
He was a ninja, kind of cool in a game. He used the sword like Zero and was blue like X (Zero and X are characters from Megaman X). I thought he was just a cool character.
Considering this, that he was a ninja, I made the skeleton of the figure with a lot of dynamism. Then I covered it with blue plasticine.
El personaje Hiryu es un ninja tecnológico, esa era una de las cosas que me parecian geniales del juego. Vamos, venía de solo jugar solo Megaman X, así que en cierta forma este personaje, que usa una espada, me recordó mucho a Zero, que también era un experto en el uso de la espada.
Era un ninja, algo cool en un juego. Usaba la espada como Zero y era azul como X (Zero y X son personajes de Megaman X). Me pareció un personaje simplemente genial.
Considerando esto, que era un ninja, hice el esqueleto de la figura con mucho dinamismo. Luego lo cubrí con plastilina azul.
The clothing was very similar to Goku's, that kind of clothing of a martial artist, wide in the legs and with many pleats.

Sleeveless, so I had to show off the arms with a quite marked musculature. That's what I did, I added brown skin colored plasticine and started with the actual molding of the arms and accessories on the forearms.

He was a ninja, so he was very good for the battles with dice or with cards that we made in the forum. It was a world of role-playing games in forums.
Recuerdo que hace tiempo existían muchos fotos de rol con dados o con narrativa, donde creabamos un perfíl en ese foro en donde éramos un personaje.
Casi siempre el personaje que elegía era ese, Hiryu. Me encantaba el personaje así que siempre lo utilizaba como mi personaje predilecto en estos foros de rol.
Era un ninja, así que quedaba muy bien para las batallas con dados o con cartas que nosotros mismos hacíamos en el foro. Era un mundillo esto de los juegos de rol en foros.

Like almost all ninjas, this one had his face covered, so I didn't have to take up much detail on the face, except for the eyes and eyebrows, as I would cover it later with red plasticine.

I just made a red scarf to cover the whole face of the character. Also, as you see in the image below, I used wire to support the scarf strips to create a sense of dynamism.

Finally I made her hair, with spikes similar to the Dragon Ball characters, but also similar to Cloud, from Final Fantasy, only brown.

The last thing was to add the sword case, the metallic belt of the character and to color the base with a little black. The last details then.
