Corazones y flores para “Locurita”, mi Gatita | Reciclaje (Es –En)

A mí me sirve de distracción y me ayuda a lograr el equilibrio. Tenía varios jeans muy viejos y rotos y decidí cambiar los cojines del porche. Solo los pequeños, porque los grandes voy a comprar tela de jeans fuerte para que les dé más fuerza. A los cojines les hice detalles en patchwork con tela de colores, flores, cuadros; todo lo que encontré por ahí. Siempre voy guardando retazos por si los necesito. Hice una linda gatita a la cual puse por nombre “Locurita”.

If you have a problem that has no solution,
Nowadays, the accumulation of garbage is bringing as a consequence high rates of pollution. This affects the environment, nature, the water cycle, the seas and oceans, and other important things for human beings. One of the alternatives to minimize the impact is to recycle. For some, the word is a nuisance without realizing that an activity, even a minimal one, influences and counteracts the effects of pollution.
Give another life to plastic, paper, cardboard, organic waste, rubber, fabrics and clothing, glass, among others. All of the above in order to protect the planet, the home where we live and where we are responsible for leaving it fit for future generations. Small actions can be taken at home and it does not cost money.
There are many ways to give a contribution in my case; cardboard and cardboard, I use them as a support when I do patchwork. I also use sheets of paper to make paper mache. I decorate cardboard boxes, especially shoe boxes, and use them to store various things. I paint glass bottles and decorate them to decorate the house with flowers.
The one I put into practice the most is textile recycling, that is to say, recycling clothes and fabric scraps. When I don't use a piece of clothing I modify it and I also make handicrafts. Of course, if it can be used by other people I prefer to donate it. If the clothes are in good condition. If not, I make with them many useful things, such as: pot holders, cushions, towel holders, laptop protectors.
There are countless uses, you just have to be creative. I like to do handicrafts with the patchwork technique. I get distracted putting the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle. For me it serves as a distraction and helps me achieve balance. I had several very old and torn jeans and decided to change the porch cushions. Only the small ones, because the big ones I'm going to buy strong denim to give them more strength.
I made patchwork details on the cushions with colored fabrics, flowers, squares; whatever I found around. I always keep scraps in case I need them. I made a cute kitty which I named "Locurita".
