Saludos amigos de #hive durante todos estos días he está buscando las maneras de escribir un post y simplemente no había podido, desde hace cuatro años pertenezco a este hermoso ecosistema al cual considero como para de mi vida, he tenido buenas y malas experiencias Pero siempre aún en los peores momentos de mi estadía por acá, siempre he encontrado apoyo de persona quienes realmente de manera desinteresada, Pero sobretodo de manera empática se me han acercado con una palabra de aliento, y de apoyo.
Hace ya un año mi esposo sufrió una caída dentro de nuestro hogar, que trajo como consecuencia que la prótesis que este tienen en su columna se moviera, causando una serie de estragos en nuestra vidas las cuales en post anteriores les he relatado, y los he mantenido al tanto de la situación, desde ese momento iniciamos un viacrucis en el cuál aún seguimos.
En Diciembre del año pasado recibimos una ayuda de parte del amigo @guiltyparties que nos permitió viajar a la ciudad de Caracas capital de Venezuela, en dónde por indicaciones del médico tratante de ese entonces debía realizar unos estudios a fin de determinar el grado de la lesión, ojo, cabe destacar que el médico quien operó a mi esposo y quien le colocó la prótesis en ese momento lamentablemente ya falleció.
En ese momento el neurocirujano quien había indicado los exámenes al estudiar el caso de mi esposo, pudo observar que se trata de una lesión delicada y compleja, el de inmediato indicó tratamiento médico el cuál, además de ser costoso, no calmó el dolor que mi esposo tiene, pasaron dos meses y nada luego nos sugirieron la idea de probar con un tratamiento llamado terapia neural.
Está terapia consiste en aplicar una serie de medicamentos en las vértebras para buscar aliviar el dolor, desesperados mi esposo aceptó así que le aplicaron la terapia que duró un mes, ya que le aplicaron una sesión cada 7 días por 4 semanas, no les voy a mentir, el dolor cedió un poco y por primera vez en mucho pudimos dormir, y pensamos que por fin encontramos la solución al problema, jajajaja nada más cierto luego de dos días empezó aparecer el dolor y con mayor intensidad.
Fuimos a consulta y el neurocirujano nos explicó que debía ser operado a la brevedad posible porque la prótesis está comprimiendo la médula y es lo que causa dolor, sugirió una operación bastante costosa de unos 21.500$ los cuales ni en mis mejores sueños tenemos, así que iniciamos la tarea de conseguirlos, cuando ya teníamos la mitad del dinero, el neurocirujano nos dice que siendo sincero el caso de mi esposo es bastante delicado y que allá en Cumaná no hay una clínica con la suficiente tecnología para operarlo y que todo salga con éxito, y además que el no se compromete a operarlo, esto nos trajo un serio problema, primero por el problema en sí, y segundo porque en la ciudad de Cumaná Estado Sucre-Venezuela dónde vivimos ningún neurocirujano quiso atender su caso.
No nos quedó de otra que investigar y fue así como dimos con que uno de los mejores neurocirujano de Latinoamérica se encuentra en la ciudad de Caracas, en el Centro Médico Docente La Trinidad, así que nos pusimos en contacto con la clínica, y agendamos una cita la cual no es para nada económica, Pero lo bueno vale, esta semana pasada por fin logramos viajar a Caracas vernos con el neurocirujano y aquí seguimos aún.
Comenzó viendo los estudios viejos de mi esposo y de inmediato nos dijo que el médico inmediatamente al ver la lesión en la columna tan compleja, debió remitir a un especialista de sistema nervioso central, ya que la prótesis está comprimiendo la médula y que él no se explicaba como mi esposo había soportado tanto tiempo con esa lesión, de inmediato pudimos darnos cuenta que los médicos en nuestra ciudad solo nos sacaron dinero.
Le mandó a realizar dos estudios una resonancia magnética con contraste, un Rx dinámico y un tratamiento de analgésico y no cuántas cosas más para iniciar el tratamiento, entre la resonancia y el Rx gastamos unos 12.911,00 bsf que traducidos en bolívares da un total de 352,75$ además de la consulta médica 100$ y el tratamiento nos costó unos 150$ aproximadamente, uff un gasto tremendo, sin contar que nos estamos quedando en un hotel y los gastos de traslado y comida que por lo visto aquí en Caracas son bien costosos.
Está semana debemos asistir nuevamente a consulta a ver qué noticias nos tiene el doctor, ya que él estuvo de junta médica con algunos colegas especialistas este fin de semana para discutir el caso de mi esposo y buscarle la mejor solución posible para su caso, no les voy a mentir es la primera vez que siento que mi esposo es atendido de manera certera, es la primera vez que siento esperanzas reales, no fabricadas por mi para darme fuerzas, estoy segura que está vez saldremos de esta pesadilla.
Pero aún con todo este pronóstico no puedo dejar de sentirme preocupada, porque los gastos son muchos por lo que espero puedan tenderme una mano amiga que me ayuden a costear y solventar un poco, a pesar de haber personas en el ecosistema que se han burlando y que han inventado no sé cuántas cosas, también existen ángeles como @danielvehe con su comunidad #rutablockchain, quien siempre me ha apoyado y también recibí en algún momento ayuda del amigo @eddiespino y a @elizabeth14 a través del proyecto #aliento entre otros otros a los que vuelvo a pedirle su ayuda para seguir en esta batalla que casi está por terminar o al menos eso espero.
No es nada fácil la situación Pero cada día con más fé y esperando que llegue ya el día en que todo esto se acabé, mañana nos toca consulta con el neurocirujano quien nos dirá a qué conclusión llegaron en la junta médica, por supuesto se las estaré haciendo saber, por ahora me despido es hora de descansar, fue un día de mucho papeleo, y caminar y mañana nos toca salir bien temprano a la clínica nuevamente.

A year ago my husband suffered a fall in our home, which resulted in the prosthesis that he has in his spine to move, causing a series of havoc in our lives which in previous posts I have told you, and I have kept you abreast of the situation, from that moment we began a journey in which we still continue.
In December of last year we received help from our friend @guiltyparties that allowed us to travel to the city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela, where by indications of the treating physician at that time he had to perform some studies in order to determine the extent of the injury, note that the doctor who operated on my husband and who placed the prosthesis at that time unfortunately passed away.
At that time, the neurosurgeon who had indicated the exams when studying my husband's case, could see that it is a delicate and complex lesion, he immediately indicated medical treatment which, besides being expensive, did not calm the pain my husband has, two months passed and nothing, then they suggested us the idea of trying a treatment called neural therapy.
This therapy consists of applying a series of medications to the vertebrae to try to alleviate the pain, desperate my husband accepted so they applied the therapy that lasted a month, since they applied a session every 7 days for 4 weeks, I will not lie, the pain subsided a little and for the first time in a long time we could sleep, and we thought we finally found the solution to the problem, hahahaha nothing more true after two days the pain began to appear and with greater intensity.
We went for consultation and the neurosurgeon explained that he should be operated as soon as possible because the prosthesis is compressing the spinal cord and that is what causes pain, he suggested a very expensive operation of about 21.500$, which in my best dreams we do not even have, so we started the task of getting them, when we already had half of the money, the neurosurgeon told us that to be honest my husband's case is quite delicate and that there in Cumana there is no clinic with enough technology to operate him and that everything goes successfully, and also that he is not committed to operate him, this brought us a serious problem, first because of the problem itself, and second because in the city of Cumana Sucre State-Venezuela where we live no neurosurgeon wanted to attend his case.
We had no choice but to investigate and that is how we found out that one of the best neurosurgeons in Latin America is located in the city of Caracas, in the Centro Medico Docente La Trinidad, so we contacted the clinic, and made an appointment which is not at all economical, but the good thing is worth it, this past week we finally managed to travel to Caracas to see the neurosurgeon and we are still here.
He began by looking at my husband's old studies and immediately told us that the doctor immediately upon seeing the spinal injury so complex, should have referred to a central nervous system specialist, since the prosthesis is compressing the spinal cord and that he could not explain how my husband had endured so long with that injury, immediately we could realize that the doctors in our city only took money from us.

The situation is not easy at all, but every day with more faith and waiting for the day when all this is over, tomorrow we have a consultation with the neurosurgeon who will tell us what conclusion they reached at the medical meeting, of course I will be letting you know, for now I say goodbye, it is time to rest, it was a day of much paperwork, and walking and tomorrow we have to leave very early to the clinic again.
