Yo Yo My Sovereigns, Wattup?

Welcome to episode 186 of my weekly Splinterlands 101 video podcast, with fellow @hiveaustralia members, and co-hosts of the show, @mattclarke and @giotrix

This episode begins with Matt discussing the Adelaide Monthly Meetup from last night and it's growing success.

Matt and I then discuss the decline of Australia into dystopian totalitarianism as December draws closer, when the non elected, government appointed E-Safety Karen's internet censorship kicks in, whereby biometric scanning and an official government ID will be required to access the internet. Even such things as Google search, YouTube, and Google Maps on your mobile phone. We further discuss though the benefits of decentralised networks like Hive filling a gap that people will be actively looking for as a result of these measures.

Then to get the show back on track, we give you a sneak peak at a battle in the new Frontier Mode.

Being the EOS episode, next we all three go shopping in the Glint store, with Matt and Gio both having much more luck than I did. (probably one of my worst draws of all time) 🤡

After our shopping spree I discuss some further tweaks I've made to my land, improving my production without any further expense, simply utilizing what I already have, and share how I've now cracked the top 100 ranking for the DEC/Stone swap pools.

Then it's onto the Battle Section of the show, continuing on with our Ruleset Challenge theme, utilizing the customable challenge feature of the game, and going through the rulesets alphabetically, one episode at a time. This week being the Fire & Regret Ruleset, where all cards have the Return Fire ability.

So if you want to see some strategies based around picking your teams, defensively, or aggressively for this ruleset, then you're in the right place, because we share our reasons for team selection, as one of us shares our screen while picking our team. Then once the teams are submitted, we discuss our thoughts on the line-ups and make our predictions on how we think the battle will play out. Then of course the excitement of the real-time commentary as the battles actually play out 😎
