This Summoner is one that I have owned pretty much since the start of the Chaos Legion set but I always got the sense it wasn't the strongest. I know archmage is using it a lot and the price on the market always has been trading quite high keeping its value which made me respect it more and give it more a chance. There are active summoners where you can build a deck around which I think are more fun and you have reactive summoners where you mostly counter your opponents and use in specific game rules. Those last I would say are arguably stronger and the Quic The Devious is such a summoner. Especially when Magic is not allowed, this becomes one of the strongest summoners in the game now.

This was a match where no magic was allowed and where all monsters got the opportunity ability. I opted for Quix The Devious as a Dragon Summoner
because the abilities and because it allowed me to play the powerful Vigilator in the back with the new reward card Fungus Flinger between it and the Venari Knifer with the objective to give both cards a bloodlust boost. In the front I played the 0 Mana Fungus Fiend as a blocker card and the 3-mana Hill Giant with enough health as a potential tank. The Venari Scout was the last filler card I used
While it looked like a relatively close battle, Splintertools.io still indicated a 100% win rate for me against a level 2 Yodin. My Fungus Flinger didn't get killed early on which failed to give the 2 monsters next to it a boost but especially the Vigilator was strong enough to pull in the win.
