Enrage is applied to all monsters. 50% increase to melee and speed stats if under max health.

Elements available

41 mana is good and while Dragon is always a good option, I am not equipped for that deck. Either Life or Death is a good choice but I have something new to try on a monster so lets give Life a whirl.

Lineups

General Sloan

Gold Foil at the highest level I need, this is a good choice for my lineup as I want to take advantage of a new ability one of my monsters has picked up as well as other options available at my highest monster levels.

Drybone Barbarian

Strong melee damage and great health. The Enrage ability makes this a nasty card to go up against. With no armour, there is a significant risk to this card so I need to ensure there is sufficient healing. With Retaliate in play, I hope to counter with some massice damage if the opportunity presents.

Corsair Bosun

This is a tough Reach card and one I love to use due to the Reflection Shield. Strong attack and decent all around stats mean this could be a nasty card in this ruleset...

Olivia The Brook

I am quickly falling in love with this card. Now I have the final piece of my Epic reward set, I can go back to boosting my rare collection again. This card at second level gains Mimic. The rest of this card is okay but Mimic is a top tier ability that makes this one of the best cards around. Excited to see how long we can maintain this card to ensure the best ability selections.

Venari Crystalsmith

A great healing card and I hope to keep the Drybone Barbarian alive as long as possible withe double Tank Heal on offer here. Boosted to three damage by General Sloan, this is a capable ranged attacker with healing utility.

Meriput Magician

Additional magic damage is nice but I could do with some healing. Drybone Barbarian is going to take a beating at the front and I could do with some heal. With three speed it is decently fast for a magic ccard and I aim to increase that where possible.

Opposing Lineup

Astral Entity

Evasion is going to make the cards harder to hit and alongside that the Resurrect ability will mean a lean toward a Martyr if I was to hazard a guess. A strong option and one that could be painful in an Enrage battle where every big hit counts much harder.

Venari Marksrat

With the Ressurect ability from Astral Entity, this Marksrat will likely die twice and double the Martyr all going into the next card. It'll be important that the next card is selected correctly to make this significant an investment.

Night Ghoul

An interesting choice but a very powerful one with 4 base attack. It is an expensive card but healthy and alongside it with Taunt make this a strong opposing card in an Enrage battle. Slow but Enrage will help with that. An interesting choice that could become a masterstroke.

Arachne Weaver

At second level as well, this card is a monster at first and one I love to play. This card is the threat as it will keep the battle going. Ideally, I'd love to collect Mimic with Olivia in this battle. That would make things quite interesting.

Silent Sha-vi

A solid card choice which does get better at higher levels. I would have liked to see a higher level but will still do a good job of damage to my lineup.

Helheim Demon

I rrecently purchased this card for the exact same positioning and idea. With Corrupted Healing, this is a naughty combination which can only be improved with a sprinkle of Triage to really irritate the opposition. Great card and placement.

Rounds 1 & 2

As expected, opening with the Marksrat in first position powered up the Nightghoul in second position. With Taunt, all attacks were directed toward the Taunt monster and as a result, Enrage kicked in alongside the Arachne Weaver's Corrupted Healing. The Resurrect ability of Astral Entity means that the Marksrat will be Martyred once more making the Nightghoul a serious threat. Olivia has picked up Flying but this is not enough to turn the tide of a very one sided swing of momentum.

By the end of the second round, The Drybone Barbarian is on Death's door and Corrupted Healing has kicked in again to support the death team.

Round 3 & 4

Drybone Barbarian lasts until the second turn of the round before being pounded into mush. But then, right there Corrupted Healing is learned by Olivia and suddenly things take a swing in the opposite direction. Corsair Bosun begins to really start swinging the sword and with a healer, a Corrupted Healer and a variety of damage- the battle is not so bleak.

Final Rounds

With two healers behind it, Corsair Bosun runs full stride taking opponents out one by one.

• I remember watching this battle thinking... Woah!
• Over longer battles, Olivia becomes really powerful
• Corrupted Healing is an absolute nuisance
• I love Corrupted Healing!
• Getting Corrupted Healing and Mimic are two unique and quite frankly game changing abilities which must be picked up by everyone.
