It's been a long time coming since the Gladiator set was first released, and with packs initially only obtainable by earning Merits through Brawl participation, maxing out any card has been a grind. But the recent introduction of the Glint reward system has made this process faster. Many of us in the community are now accelerating our progress, opening more Gladius packs and finally seeing our collections grow faster.
The card I maxed out is Marisol Contuma, an Epic I don't think I’ve ever used in battle. It’s not the most exciting card, but every maxed card is a step closer to completing the set. As the Gladiator edition has been around for a while, there’s a growing sense that a new edition could be on the horizon. This makes it feel like a race against time to finish my Gladiator collection before new cards are released.
Despite the lack of excitement with Marisol Contuma’s utility in my current strategy, getting an Epic maxed out feels like a big achievement in itself. It’s one more card checked off the list, and with each milestone, I get closer to having a fully maxed set.
Now, I need to keep grinding for more Merits, opening packs, and hoping for the day I can finally max out Quora and other key cards in the Gladiator lineup. There’s always something to chase in Splinterlands, and this goal keeps me motivated in the game.
