Reigniting the Bot
When I decided to activate the bot again, I was uncertain about how effective it would be, especially considering the introduction of Tactics, which changed the dynamics of gameplay. The Splinterlands team has done a great job making battles more strategic, and I worried that this might limit the bot's effectiveness.
However, my results proved otherwise. Despite starting very late in the season, the bot managed to achieve excellent results, even propelling me into the Top 50 leaderboard. This performance exceeded my expectations, especially given the limited time it had to climb the ranks.
Earning Potential
One of the biggest takeaways was how the bot almost paid for itself through the SPS earned. It also brought in more Glint than I could have earned on my own, as it played matches more efficiently and consistently than I would have been able to manually.
As someone who values DEC over SPS for my ongoing land expansion plans, the added benefit of consistent Glint accumulation has made this decision even more rewarding.
Preparing for the Future
With the Survival Mode update on the horizon, I’m curious to see how these bot services will adapt. If they can navigate this new mode as effectively as they handle the current system, it could further cement their place as a valuable tool in the ecosystem.
Shifting Priorities
Reactivating the bot has allowed me to refocus on other areas of the game, particularly land management, without sacrificing my presence in ranked gameplay. While I’ll always enjoy the strategic aspects of Splinterlands, automating battles has been a game-changer for maintaining efficiency and maximizing my earnings.
For now, I’m content with this balance, and I look forward to seeing how both the bot services and the Splinterlands economy evolve. Whether it’s through Survival Mode or land updates, it’s clear that there’s always something new to explore in this ever-growing ecosystem!
