A Grind That Takes Years
Unlike most other Splinterlands cards, Gladiators can’t be bought, traded, or sold—they’re earned through battle. And maxing them out is no small feat. It requires consistent participation in Guild Brawls, a competitive Guild that invests in its buildings, and patience as you slowly accumulate Merits over time.
With the decline in player activity, the challenge has only increased. Some brawls go unfilled, making the competition less dynamic and the overall experience less rewarding. But I’ve kept grinding, knowing that a fully maxed Gladiator set gives me an edge in high-level competition.
135 Packs Opened—A Major Milestone
This time around, I opened 135 Gladius packs, pushing my collection even closer to completion. The result? I now have Gladiators across all rarities fully maxed, which is a huge personal achievement. That means I can field the strongest versions of these cards in Brawls, giving my Guild an even bigger advantage.
That said, I still need a couple of key cards to ensure my deck is as competitive as possible. The work isn’t done yet, but the finish line is in sight.
Now that my Gladiator collection is nearly complete, I’ll keep grinding Brawls to stay ahead and help my Guild remain competitive. The ecosystem may be shifting, but for now, Brawls remain one of the few consistent ways to earn in Splinterlands.
And who knows? Maybe the game’s next evolution will make these maxed Gladiators even more valuable. Until then, I’ll keep stacking Merits, opening packs, and preparing for whatever comes next.
