Time flies! Just completed the 213th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 7th!
So for the final result, we were 7th out of 10 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 10 SPS! Back to our usual ranking.. Hmm...
Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

For a Cripple ruleset, it's always advantageous to have as many cards as possible on the board and with 3 more cards than my opponent in this battle, we had a comfortable win.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato and Katrelba Gobson
What a big fight for this one. Larissa Kerato partnered Katrelba Gobson probably for the first time in my plays and they did well with the Double Strike ability. Once again, Cripple appeared in the ruleset and having these double attacks helped a lot. Moreover, it allowed me higher chances of getting the last hit and earning the Bloodlust. Another comfortable win here.

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst
Sea Monster was indeed a monster over here. With Self Heal and another healer in the backline, it was near impossible for my opponent to overcome this. Another comfortable win over here. Good start so far.

Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
Ouch! Was outmuscled in this battle by the opposing Drybone Barbarian, which was dealing 8 damage per turn and my massive cards just went down in one single hit. There was no way back for me here. Oh well.

Battle 5 - WIN

Wow I totally didn't expect the ending! For 99 mana plus Earthquake battle, I didn't bring in the biggest cards and opted to go with cards that had Flying or Self Heal abilities. My opponent went for the damage output route and they were almost winning but when it reached my final card Pelacor Deceiver, they were missing all their hits and Earthquake finished the job for me! Woohoo!

Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway
Both teams brought out decent lineups and I thought it was going to be a close battle. Turns out it was just one sided to my favour and Dark Astronomer did extremely in this Little League plus Reverse Speed ruleset! Big 2 Ranged hits early in the rounds were very critical. First and rare MVP for Dark Astronomer!

Battle 7 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
Another Earthquake battle and this time I fared badly against the same opposing card, Drybone Barbarian. It's so hard to escape the 8 damage per round in the battle, and hindsight, I might have stood a higher chance if I considered using Gladius cards. Room to improve here, will do better next time!

So that sums up my 5 battles for this brawl! 71% win rate this time! Pretty satisfied with result still.
