Time flies! Just completed the 16th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Staying In Bronze Fray
For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me. Had 6 battles and I am glad that I did well this time.
- We Got 3rd!!!
So for the final result, we finished 3rd out of 10 guilds and got a yummy 915 Merits!
Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I managed 4 wins! Was ranked 4th within the guild for a 67% win rate. Can't be unhappy about that.

Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Isgard Vorst
No advantage with Brighton Bloom this time as the opponent used the same summoner. Saw the dreaded Quora Towershead and thought it was a loss for sure. However, I watched in shock as Kelp Initiate, Djinn Oshannus and Merdaali Guardian bought a lot of time for Isgard Vorst to clear the opposing backline and scored 4 Bloodlusts. By the time, Quora Towershead came face to face with Isgard Vorst, he had already turned into a monster. So this means I WON A QUORA TOWERSHEAD FOR THE FIRST TIME!

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
For plain vanilla battles like this, I don't allow myself to have any slip ups. My overall damage output (including Magic Reflect) was the difference in this one.

Battle 3 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
Was outfought in this one due to quite a lot of factors. Was banking on my Gladius card to get Bloodlust but he wasn't lucky enough to get the last hit. The opposing team had too many Sneak cards as well and the cards were of a higher level as well. No hard feelings losing this one.

Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Krash Wanderford
The controversial Krash Wanderford was selected to tank while the remaining backline worked with Yodin Zaku's Blast. This battle was exceptionally tricky because my opposing's Melee cards could all attack from any position. Fortunately Krash Wanderford clocked 5 misses out of 7 hits and bought a lot of time for the team. However, I still had to fight hard as the last two opposing cards both had Bloodlust! Eventually, Yodin Zaku brought home the win.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Orella Abadon
When you see Yodin Zaku, RUNNN! Made a mistake by using Orella Abadon when it's Fog of War but it didn't matter a single bit. Easy win here.

Battle 6 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
Had difficulties handling a self-healing tank on the opposing side and my strategy of going for speed units didn't pay off. It was a close battle nonetheless.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! Hoping for some free wins soon! Hehe!

The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 8th Gladius case! Lucky enough to score a new Epic card! Not sure if Gorth of Chimney Wallstop is better now.
