Time flies! Just completed the 218th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 5th!!!
So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 19 SPS! Nice finish and a big bag of SPS!
Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 5th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

I went for a Magic lineup and came up against the opposing Djinn Oshannus which has Void. I couldn't get a breakthrough and had to succumb to this well thought out lineup from my opponent.

Battle 2 - WIN

What a tricky battle that could have gone either way! It was Back to Basics but there was Poison. Delwyn Dragonscale helped a lot with the damage output but it was Chaos Dragon that was the most tanky of the lot and outlasted everyone!

Opponent fled! Free win!
Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie
This brawl really brings me back to the old days when Alric Stormbringer lineups went around to terrorise the teams in the ranked battles. Once again, I was up against Alric Stormbringer and even with Grandmaster Rathe's ability, Iziar's Void, I still lost out. It was a very narrow loss but the defeat was pretty hard to take because I did my best to field a decent team.

Gladius Card Used: Liza Fox
55 mana and my opponent fielded one card. Haha. No complaints here of course!
MVP: None (almost like a free win)
Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick
In this low tier fight, Cursed Windeku was the star of the match with Thorns causing a lot of trouble for my opponent and Helheim Demon soaked in all the hits while Astral Entity's abilities worked quietly behind the scenes, and it was a good win overall.
MVP: Cursed Windeku
So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 67% win rate this time! Not too bad I guess.
