A project I started in December, although the idea is more than a year old. Thanks to the artificial intelligence of Mifjourney I was able to develop it.

In this post I want to tell you a little of the process, after having made the announcement herealthough I only show you two characters and the frames. There are other cases that were particular that you can see in the video.

Un proyecto que comencé en diciembre, aunque la idea tiene más de un año. Gracias a la inteligencia artificial de Mifjourney lo pude desarrollar.

En este post quiero contarles un poco del proceso, después de haber hecho el anuncio aquí, aunque solo les muestro el de dos personajes y los marcos. Hay otros casos que fueron particulares que los pueden ver en el video.

The first thing I did was to upload the original image of the game, in this case of Forest Spirit. Then I gave it a very long prompt that resulted in some very beautiful illustrations, although very far from what I wanted; some childish characters in the style of Clash Royal. I think these images are better for the game, especially 3.

Lo primero que hice fue subir la imagen original del juego, en este caso de Forest Spirit. Después le di un prompt bien largo que me dio como resultado unas ilustraciones muy bellas, aunque súper alejadas de lo que quería; unos personajes infantiles al estilo de Clash Royal. Creo que estas imágenes están mejores para el juego, sobre todo la 3.

From that 3 that I liked, I started asking her for "baby" at promt. She did bring my age down, even though she looked like a teenager. I want a baby.

Another thing I upgraded was the ears. Being an elf they should be pointed and that was added.

A partir de esa 3 que me gustó, le comencé a pedir "baby" en el promt. Me redujo la edad, aunque parecía una adolescente. Yo quiero una bebé.

Otra cosa que mejoré fueron las orejas. Al ser un elfo deberían ser puntiagudas y eso se añadió.

I continue and among several I get one that I like for its similarity in leaves and costume. Something I didn't want were the red eyes. Although the original you have them, we are talking about a baby that still needs to grow XD. The age is still reducing, although it still has a way to go.

Continúo y entre varios obtengo uno que gusta por su similitud en las hojas y traje. Algo que no quería eran los ojos rojos. Aunque el original los tienes, hablamos de una bebé que todavía le falta crecer XD. La edad sigue reduciendo, aunque todavía le queda camino.

I keep lowering the age and with it all the factions. I add "cute" and "pixar style". I'm starting to have acceptable results and my path seems safer. She already has the features I want.

Sigo bajando la edad y con ella todas las facciones. Añado "cute" y "pixar style". Ya comienzo a tener resultados aceptables y mi camino parece más seguro. Ya tiene los rasgos que quiero.

I do more tests and with several improvements, among them the color. The previous ones were too brown and I wanted more green. I also reached the desired age. The look is so cute. I love the two below. The 3 is more focused on his whole body, but the 4 has the suit and leaves as I wanted, so I finally decide on that one.

Hago más pruebas y con varias mejoras, entre ellas el color. Los anteriores estaban muy marrones y quería más verde. Además llego a la edad deseada. La mirada es tan tierna. Los dos de abajo me encantan. El 3 está más enfocado en todo su cuerpo, pero el 4 tiene el traje y las hojas como quería, así que finalmente me decido por ese.

With Bila "Catira Bella", the steps were similar, although having previous experience, it was easier for me. With the cleaner promt the first result was very clear and allowed me to go from there without doing other tests. What I had to do was to take the age down step by step. I realized that if we want it to come out in the first one, it won't look good.

Con Bila "Catira Bella", los pasos fueron parecidos, aunque al tener una experiencia previa, se me hizo más fácil. Con el promt más limpio el primer resultado fue muy claro y me permitió partir desde ahí sin hacer otras pruebas. Lo que tenía que hacer es ir bajando la edad paso a paso. Me di cuenta que si queremos que salga en el primero, no quedará bien.

The first one was too beautiful. I saw that from her it would be an easy road.

La primera demasiado bella. Vi que desde ella sería un camino fácil.

I was almost at the age. Here she is about 6 years old and I wanted her to be 3 XD. In some of them she has her hair up and looks like an old lady. It was extremely important that she had it loose like the original.

Ya casi llegaba a la edad. Aquí tiene como 6 años y yo quería de 3 XD. En algunas tiene el cabellos recogido y parece una viejita. Era sumamente importante que lo tuviera suelto como la original.

The tests were giving me beanies that I didn't like. Another important thing was that I had to have boots. Also that the ears had to have an attractive shape. I was still a little short of age.

Las pruebas me estaban dando unos gorritos que no me gustaban. Otra de las cosas importantes era que tuviera botas. También que las orejas tuvieran una forma atractiva. De igual manera faltaba un poco para llegar a la edad.

I finally got to where I wanted to be and there are only minor adjustments to be made. I keep getting a hair up or with a cap. I have to change that. The height is perfect and so is the look; although I would like something with more strength.

Por fin llego a donde quería y solo faltan pequeños ajustes. Me sigue apareciendo un cabello recogido o con gorro. Eso tengo que cambiarlo. La estatura está perfecta y la mirada también; aunque quisiera algo con más fuerza.

The case of the frame to make them cards was more complicated. The AI didn't understand what I wanted and I didn't know how to explain it.

I uploaded the image of a Splinterlands card and the results were a disaster. The frames looked like works of art. Very overdone and looked old. They didn't look like a video game, although I'm sure there are similar ones.

I had to search on Google, one that was a little cleaner of elements and especially without characters. I loved the result.

El caso del marco para que sean tarjetas fue más complicado. La IA no entendía lo que quería y yo como que no se lo sabía explicar.

Subí la imagen de una carta de Splinterlands y los resultados fueron un desastre. Los marcos como de obras de arte. Muy recargados y se veían viejos. No parecían de video juego, aunque seguro que existen parecidos.

Tuve que buscar en Google, alguno que estuviera un poco más limpio de lementos y sobre todo sin personajes. El resultado me encantó.

That's how I arrived to this frame that I edited in Photoshop, eliminating areas so that the characters have more space and prominence and placing logos of the game.

Así llegué a este marco que edité en Photoshop, eliminando áreas para que los personajes tengan más espacio y protagonismo y colocando logos del juego.
