Wow, food for thought on Sunday. Interesting topic for a post. Trying to summarize in a few words what I did, what I learned, what I thought about and what made me reflect. Well, that would be easy if I were to comment on what I have published during this week, but I think we all know that is not the goal, since whoever wants to know about my publications, go to my profile.
Well, I will do this from a professional point of view and then let's switch to the personal. I will start by saying that this week I am learning about human skin binding and no, not that I have considered doing so, but it was a subject I was unaware of. I didn't know it had religious significance, though it remains to me a practice both archaic and inhumane. I plan to write a post about it, but I'll give you a heads up that it was not only done for religious purposes, but it was also a post-death punishment and even in some cases a very macabre and twisted way of paying tribute.

I also read a lot about a syndrome that apparently came out of the sewer of the internet (TikTok) where they invented a kind of genetic mutation that some women suffer from and whose main symptom, the change of color of their eyes from blue to purple. Not only that, but they develop other features typical of science fiction, as they would turn these girls into something similar to the stereotypical type of super human but without powers. From a good samaritan point of view, this week I did a friend a favor and repaired a bluetooth speaker that was having battery problems and then made a post about it. And yes, I know I said I wasn't going to talk about the posts I made this week, but it's something I had to mention. I say this because as I write I realize that I need to be more mindful of the people around me and stop focusing so much on myself. Because it's not that I'm the bad guy in the movie, but right now no feats of selfless helpfulness come to mind, which indicates that I either did a lot or I didn't do any. So I intend to improve in this regard, because how can I expect good things from life, if I apparently don't do my part. I say this because of the saying: "do good and don't look at whom".

And finally, what I do feel proud of is that I was finally able to provide my beloved mother with the means to communicate with my cousins in the United States and Canada. And this may not seem like a big deal, but in case you don't know in Cuba, it is already difficult to live, so imagine what it would be like to save 10 months to buy a smartphone, and no, I am not exaggerating about the time. If anyone wants to know more about it, leave me a comment and I will gladly explain it to you. But to stay on topic, my mom was super happy with tears in her eyes and her typical phrase "you are the best thing that ever happened to me". UFF, I bristle when I hear that.

¡Vaya! Domingo para reflexionar. Interesante tema para una publicación. Intentar resumir en pocas palabras que hice, que aprendí, en que pensé y que me hizo reflexionar. Bueno, eso sería sencillo si me pusiese a comentar que he publicado durante esta semana, pero creo que todos sabemos que ese no es el objetivo, ya que el que quiera saber sobre mis publicaciones, pues que vaya a mi perfil.Buenos, haré esto desde un punto de vista profesional y luego cambiemos a lo personal. Empezaré diciendo que esta semana aprende sobre encuadernación con piel humana y no, no es que tenga considerado hacerlo, pero era un tema que desconocía. No sabía que tenía un significado religioso, aunque sigue siendo para mí una práctica tanto arcaica como inhumana. Tengo pensado escribir un post sobre eso, pero les adelanto que no solo se hacía con fines religiosos, sino que también era un castigo post-muerte e incluso en algunos casos una forma de muy macabra y retorcida de brindar tributo.

También leí un montón sobre un síndrome que aparentemente salió de la cloaca del internet (TikTok) donde se inventaron una especie de mutación genética que padecen algunas mujeres y cuyo síntoma principal, el cambio de coloración de sus ojos de azul a morado. No solo eso, sino que desarrollan otros rasgos propios de la ciencia ficción, ya que convertirían a estas chicas en algo semejante al tipo estereotipo de super humano lo que sin poderes. Pero bueno deseo, tampoco quiero profundizar, puesto que es un posible tema para una publicación. Y espero que los que lean este post no me roben las ideas.

Desde el punto de vista del buen samaritano, esta semana le hice un favor a un amigo y le reparé una bocina bluetooth que tenía problemas con la batería y luego hice una publicación sobre eso. Y sí, ya sé que dije que no iba a hablar sobre las publicaciones que he hecho esta semana, pero es algo que tenía que mencionar. Digo esto porque mientras escribo me doy cuenta de que tengo que ser más atento con las personas que me rodean y dejar de centrarme tanto en mí mismo. Porque no es que sea el malo de la película, pero ahora mismo no me viene a la cabeza ninguna hazaña de ayuda desinteresada, lo cual indica que o hice muchas o no hice ninguna. Así que me propongo mejorar en este sentido, ya que como voy a esperar cosas buenas de la vida, si yo aparentemente no pongo de mi parte. Esto lo digo por el dicho de: “haz el bien y no mires a quién”.

Y pues para finalizar de lo que sí me siento orgulloso es que por fin pude facilitarle los medios a mi madre querida para que pudiese comunicarse con mis primos de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Y esto no parecerá la gran cosa, pero por si no lo saben en Cuba, ya de por sí es difícil vivir, así que imagínense como sería ahorrar 10 meses para comprar un smartphone, y no, no exagero con el tiempo. Si alguno quiere saber más sobre el tema me deja un comentario y con gusto le explico. Pero bueno para no salirme del tema, mi mamá super contenta con lágrimas en los ojos y u típica frase de “eres lo mejor que me ha pasado en la vida”. UFF, yo me erizo cuando escucho eso.
