This post marks the end of the BETA presale and the beginning of the BETA edition.
The presale was a huge success with roughly 25,000 packs sold out of available 100,000 packs. This led to increasing the holding-reward pool from around 19,000 HIVE to 48,000 HIVE!
In case you didn't know, 30% of all pack sales add to the holding rewards which are passive rewards given out to holders of dCrops assets. 0.25% of the pool is distributed daily in liquid hive to the holders.
The remaining packs that weren't sold during the pre-sale have been added to the general sale pool.
Congratulations to the following players who were in the top 3 buyers. You will each be able to design an NPC character of your own.
Wen Update?
Due to some unforeseen bugs, the update schedule mentioned in our previous post has been revised the following:
Pack Opening - Already Live
Claiming Airdrop - In 1-2 days
Construction - In 1-2 days
Planting Trees - After the above 2 are live
Crafting, Cooking and Workshop- In a week
Please note that these are tentative timings which might change in case of bugs.
Additional Info on Cooking
Proficiency
Recipes will be NFTs that you need to burn in order for you to learn how to cook them. Cooked items will be sold for a far higher value of share points and will be crucial in the orders and NPC update. Burning one copy of a recipe will allow you to start cooking it.
The more you cook a specific recipe, your proficiency in that recipe will increase which will give you certain bonuses. The proficiency will have a level cap which can be increased by burning more copies of the same recipe NFT.
The maximum proficiency level for all recipes is level 10. The numbers mentioned in the NFTs required for max proficiency
section in the table below indicate how many recipe NFTs you need to max out.
The formula for calculating the share value of the cooked food item is:
final share value = (sum of shares of ingredients)*1.3 + recipe bonus + equipment bonus
The proficiency, share bonus on recipe price calculation and time required are given in the following table.
Info on Crafting
There are a total of ~51 total craftable items that have been initially added to the game with the BETA edition. The distinction between cooking and crafting is that you can directly craft these items without needing to learn them as long as you have the necessary equipment and ingredients in your inventory.
The formula for calculating the share value of the crafted item is:
final share value = (sum of shares of ingredients)*1.15 + recipe bonus + equipment bonus
The following tables provide info on the recipe bonus and time required for craft items:
Note: Since Bee Hive will have the option to produce Wild Honey which doesn't require any ingredients, the recipe bonus is not applicable here.
The above items are the ones that do not belong to any specific category and most of them are unique in their own way.
Flour can be crafted either by using 2 Wheat, 1 Rice or 1 Corn and the resultant share value for the flour will be dependent on the ingredient used.
Items like salt and pepper can be obtained from quest rewards and the in-game shop.
Ice is another unique craftable item such that it will be produced from Fridge without needing any ingredients which means the recipe bonus is not applicable in this case.
Both cooking and crafting significantly increase the share value of the ingredients used. Cooking provides a higher value since it requires you to burn recipe NFTs.
