Super Castlevania IV, a video game developed by the KONAMI company that was released between 1991 and 1992 for the Super Nintendo system. It is a platform game, where we will live another adventure of the Belmont family that for many years or generations, was in charge of destroying the evil Dracula every time he threatened the earth.

Castlevania IV is a game with 12 fascinating stages, charged with bosses like Medusa, that will make you get the best of you. Some stages are new as this game tells you a little bit differently the story that was lived in the 1986 version of Castlevania for NES but this time, with a better system, it offers more vivid colors, stages with 3D effects that will catch you.

our main weapon is a whip, with which you can attack in 8 directions and even spin with it. This is something new for how limited the game was in its first edition. It will also help you to advance in the game and get from one place to another.

In Super Castlevania IV you must be careful with your movements, know how to read your opponents' patterns and beat them. You will have additional weapons that will help you in this task, axes, cross, daggers and more, allow you to attack your enemies, but use them carefully, they are not infinite and it will be necessary to collect hearts to use them.

Without a doubt, Castlevania IV allows you to live an adventure, in which you will have to surpass yourself in each stage and advance until you manage to face Dracula, but don't trust yourself, a real challenge awaits you at the end. For its sound effects, visuals, gameplay and innovation, I give it an 8/10.
