Hey gamer, and welcome to the second chapter of The Veil Between Realms from the legend mode in the game The Ghost of Tsushima
A Quick Recap from Chapter 1
In chapter 1, I entered a new universe where a new agent working for the witch, Onibaba, was introduced. This new agent goes by the name The Ritualist, and they have harnessed the powers of the three mystical items: the sun, moon, and storm. Yeah, you heard me right. The third item is the storm. My apologies for the mistake of calling it the star in my Chapter 1 post.

The Shocking Twist in Chapter 2
Earlier, I talked about how easy it was to complete chapter 1; there were no hurdles, only taking out the guards on duty protecting the mystical items. That was a piece of cake for me, using my ghost skills, creeped up on them, and went full-on deadly ninja mode. This was way too easy, and some readers from the previous game said the same thing.
It had to be strange, given that the chapter that preceded the veil between realms was quite challenging for me and took me a couple of tries before I could get it. And yes, it was true. My suspicions were confirmed in this chapter with a shocking revelation that the Mongols are the ritualists.
The Ritualist, an agent of Onibaba who was surprisingly absent in Chapter 1 was all along the Mongols who have transended into ritualists. If you are conversant with the game or my blog, you wouldn't be new to the word Mongols. It is the word used to describe the guards that are terrorizing the town and capturing monks.
These Mongols now possess the mystical items through the help of the Onibaba to give themselves longer life and a strong strike. I could tell by how they strike my character, the ghost. After three strikes, the ghost was down. Now these Mongols are on a new, different kind of power.
Defeating Them
To defeat the Mongols, I first have to draw power from the mystical item matching the colour on the Mongol's body. So if the Mongol had the colour orange on its body, which means it drew its power from the sun, as the sun has the colour orange. First, I run to the sun, draw power from it using my sword, then I strike the Mongols with the color of the sun. I did this to all the Mongols with different mystical powers.
It was a new twist I wasn't expecting, but it goes to show the good work the team has done with the game, and I can only wonder what they have done with the newest edition, The Ghost of Yotei. I am still contemplating getting it, but I guess I just have to put it on hold for now until rent has been taken care of. Or can I pull off leaving on the street as a gamer? 🤔
I am still exploring Chapter 2 and I don't know if there might be more chapters, but if there is more, expect to get it on my blog when I play it.
See you in the next game or chapter.
