Another neat little build today. Just like two days ago it started off with a small pile of Stuff with, obviously, a blue flame. Honestly, when I first saw this set lying in pieces my mind wandered to something from Star Wars.
It ended up being the Goblet of Fire, albeit without a gold bowl. The neat thing about lego pieces is that they can easily be reused into anything; I still look at this and think of a Star Wars deep space probe.
It might be the Goblet from the books, but my story isn't going to use the goblet at all because... well... poetic licence, and freewrite. Nyah.
The Yule Story, Continued
The girl from the chariot was led over to a standing brazier and, with a wave of her wand, set it alight. The fire was not red, as Harry would expect, however; it was a brilliant and bright blue. The girl smiled to the crowd, waved, and was led by two of the professors past the crowd and into the castle. Harry felt a distinct chill as she passed by them, and Hermione and Hagrid both saw him shiver.
"Gettin' the cold shoulder, eh, Harry?" Hagrid ribbed good naturedly. "Better get used to it with those girls."
"Hagrid!" Hermione exclaimed in exasperation. "That's not nice!"
Forgetting that he had the chills and, besides, as soon as the girl was gone Harry warmed up again, Harry grinned at his friends. It always made them happy to see them have fun. "We better finish getting ready for the Yule Ball," he said.
