
These photos were taken in Luang Prabang, a charming town in Laos. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, located by the Mekong River. Once it was the capital of Laos. Even it's a rather small town, it has more than 30 Buddist monasteries and temples and ofcourse, the former Royal Palace. The streets have a unique mix when it comes to architecture. The houses are low and in style they are a mix of French colonial style and traditional Lao architecture. The photos are from the busy local market.
