Beans pudding cake is the steaming of blended beans. It is steamed inside a pot using leaves or nylon. That small Peak milk can is also used. It is a very popular Nigeria food. It is loved by both children and adults. Actually this food is prepared for a traditional celebration and as well as modern celebration. Not only can u eat it alone. It goes along with different meal.
It can be taken with pap and milk as shown below. Which is my favorite.it can also be eaten with garri,you can also stuff it in the middle of bread, aww actually so good. Can also be serve aside with white or jollof rice.
The mistake that spoil beans cake is when not blended well because a grainy texture in the pudding will affect the appearance of the beans cake and will not be good in the mouth when eating.
Procedure for preparing it:
Ingredients needed
1 .2 cups of brown beans
2 .2 bell pepper/tatashe
3 .2 habanero pepper/rodo
4 .2tbspoon of crayfish
5 . 3 boiled eggs
6 . 1/4cup vegetable oil
7 . 3/4cup cooked minced fish
8 . 2cubes of seasoning
9 . Salt to taste.
10 .1 big size onion
Instructions:
1 . Soak the beans in the water for 20 mins and peel out the beans and rinse out till it's white and without any skin.
2 . Pour into the blender along with the habanero pepper,bell pepper and onion. blend to the very smootest way, there shouldn't be any grainy texture in it.
3 .add the crayfish,seasoning and oil to the blended beans and mixed together. Pour the amount u desire in a nylon or pan or can . Any of which u want to use,add egg and minced fish to each pack ,put inside a pot of water and steam.
Steam for 30 min. Then. Ur beans pudding cake is ready. Serve to ur taste.
